| Not a VN reader, and not normally a fan of school anime.... Just finished Little Busters! season 1 after a friend recommended it and I am so pleasantly surprised. This anime was weird and wonderful, fun, and full of emotional moments. The writing is also excellent, you realise when you get certain pay offs that they were building it for 2-3 episodes in advance, so nothing ever feels forced. I also loved the characters, they are all interesting and you want to root for them. My only criticism was a certain character arc towards the end felt quite rushed, I could imagine it being much more fleshed out in the VN, this ruined the impact of some moments a bit. But overall I think this was a fantastic anime and I will be watching on with the next season. BONUS: absolutely beautiful soundtrack |
