Kino!! second part was timeskip without much text but it was so much beautiful... the talk between tokio and dad was very chill, last panel was pure art.

I'm speechless...The characterization in this chapter...The coming-of-age flavor of this chapter was damn perfect, Ishida-sensei went all out.

this is probably my favorite chapter thus far. Tokio’s conversion with his father specifically, to me was the highlight. His decision to go all in as a Choujin to protect others, and all the character developments are so great to see. The last panel shows how much Tokio gets to develop and god I am so excited to see where this all goes. Ishida is in peak form.

I personally don't think Ely and Azuma are gonna end up together, but I wouldn't really care if they did. It doesn't really seem to be setting up for Ely X Azuma but that might be just because of no text, cause before I'm pretty sure it was setting up Tokio and Ely.

Ok he quit school went on a training arc. We got a time skip showing the other 2 MC's. I wonder how many years have pasted? Anyways we really saw them grow and develop in this chapter.

Amazing chapter. This really felt like a callback to Tokyo Ghoul and Kaneki's "I'm not going back to anteiku" where Kaneki leaves everyone behind in order to seek his own answers/growth. I really liked the collage of scenes during the timeskip here. One of my favorite chapters in Choujin x

a whole ass silent time skip in 16 pages is kinda wild. 💀

experimental but i dig it.

In the previous chapter discussion someone said this feels like an axed manga, I'm starting to see it now ngl. I still don't know what exactly the end goal is tbh, it just feels like things are happening. There's all this talk about prophecy after prophecy but we've not seen it work once yet. The story is definitely planned out but Ishida kinda doesn't know how to go about it. I think he's starting to focus more on the story and less on the art tho, you can tell since the panels are less convoluted now and easier to follow and some backgrounds and shading are kinda wonky compared to before. Let's see where this new direction takes us then.
