For me it’s the sensei, best person for 8man. Gave good life advice, shift things for him optimistically and not like Haruno which was blunt. He even said if he was born 10 years earlier, he would marry her. If the sensei wasn’t there, things would have shifted differently lol

yeah yukino was allways on the same wavelength as Hachi and is best for him in the end but i prefer Yui tbh

There was never a character which stuck with me much. Don’t get me wrong I liked all the characters but none really left a lasting impression on me.

I really liked Shizuka though. I can’t really give a real reason tbh. Idk I liked her chill af vibe to her

you can just see my favourites on my profile for your self bro but I will tell you anyway my favourite anime character of all time is hachiman hikigaya because he's a nice guy who doesn't feels like 90% of the light novel characters which are try hard to be different but end of the day they are some hidden genius or something and they come and solve the problem in a flash like it's nothing and the others character don't get any character development because he just keeps coming like a badass and solve everything and the female characters fell in love instead of getting upset that she can't do anything but the mc comes and solves all of it like nothing like that is just like split in the face especially if you're the rival of the mc. I also have Yui on my favourites but don't ask why cause I don't want to write an essay but all I can say is that she is a more well written character than yukino and yukino feels like an helpless girl which is very different than her character in the first season. Perfect Light novel MC example this season: The one from rosedere

Hachiman.
I heard, the anime director added a significant amount of screen time for Yui but shortened a lot of Yukino's moments. They also altered some of the moments with Yui to make it more romantic.
Overall I think Yukino and Hachi are perfect for each other given their character.

Hachiman Hikigaya is an obvious choice because his thought process is as interesting as it can get. Dude literally made his Sensei to think about what if he was born 10 years before! I mean jokes apart, he is a really smart and a kind of character who wouldn't like to be the centre of anything despite being so talented in his logical thinking.

Yuigahama runner up for me because she was cute (no logic there)

For me it's Haruno. She's blunt, a bit manipulative and antagonistic but being Yukino's sister and the elder daughter of a renowned family I think her actions were justifiable to some extent. Also I doubt 8man or Yukino would push that much if it wasn't her "co-dependence".

As for the best girl I'm team Yukino.

The comic version shows yukino thinking about her past where she says she was in love with hachiman from the very first season.

Hikigaya: Literally the best rom-com mc. 50% relatable/50% wish I could be like him

Saika: The first trap I ever experienced in anime. Loved the 8manxSaika moments and he probably would've been my favorite character in the show if he was used past S1

Yui: My first ever best girl. Fun Fact: S1 was one of the first anime I every watched, much less rom-com, so I didn't expect two girls to like the MC at the same time. When I first watched season 1, I saw 8man and yui and was like, "Oh, they're going to be a cute couple". I watched this when I was 13. I still haven't recovered.
