This scene I was having deja vu i swear I seen this somewhere but I can't remember where ;-;
If anyone knows the reference that be big help
And I can sleep nice and clam.... Help me guys thanks again and sorry for making a discussion over this there are lot of references I seen this show is great

Reminds me of a real-life story from Fukuoka where a Filipino man saved a Japanese boy from drowning.

The statement he gave at the time was "Nanoru hodo no mono de wan nai", which the article translates as "“I’m not important enough for people to need to be concerned about my name."

The line is described as "a theatrical declaration you’ll hear in action movies or manga, often said by a samurai or some other sort of humble hero who’s just saved the day", but no specific origin is mentioned. Seems it might be quite old.

Hello I have the answer you seek. But that's gonna be bitter-sweet.

I couldn't recognize it with the English version but I just watched episode 3 and the Japanese version makes it clear.

There is no actual reference. What she says in Japanese is 名乗るほどのもんじゃございやせんよ (Nanoru hodo no mon ja gozaiyasen yo) which is a line character would say after helping someone in a story with samurai alike characters. That's a line that can be found in a lot of stories so even if you could hear it or see a scene like this anywhere else the joke in Shikanokonokonokokoshitantan doesn't come from where you have seen it. They are actually joking about that line in itself.

it's a reference to the main female lead in "To me, the one who loved you" who said that at the end to koyomi and also said earlier (I think) that she always wanted to say it
