| On one hand I don't like the ending but at the same time I also expected and aren't surprised it ended that way. Still this manga has been a comfort manga to me for years and I'm sad I won't have any more to read but I'll be eagerly waiting the next series though. |
| 8/10, this manga was more about the journey than the end so I'm fine with a safe and boring end. I was a comedy, not a romcom so it makes sense that kind of end. All the romance was more for comedy than for the sake of it. If you wanna know it's It's not as bad as it seems. |

| Still good, this manga is not really into romance to begin with so the ending was expected. For me, the ending still better than the 'adult preview' version. |

And let's not forget that the mangaka's ideas and talent are all over the place when he decided to cancel all the the romance scenes and references and friend zoned all the characters in chapter 360 . This not the usual gag manga like Gintama where there were rarely any romance scenes with Gintoki and generally the romance doesn't go anywhere and is pointless, or to be precise this manga is not even remotely gag , just a simple romcom. Neither the mangaka nor the Japanese publisher mentioned this as a gag manga |
