ey yo which motherfucker was responsible and decided to let the space rift fucking rip like a fart Imma kill the being responsible for this mess 😭
the scene where you see the mythological characters disappear tho and Rein was a puddle of water, holy fucking shit that was fucking brutal they did homegirl dirty af βœ‹πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

I hate myself tho that the river god just disappearing in the beginning made me chuckle, it looked like something out of a memeeeee 😭

Mu-chan, Takumi, and Ryou meeting up together was really weird tho, wonder if there is an explanation as to why these three all have kotodama but perhaps it's just who they've interacted with
something about like how three kids ended up saving everyone felt like those shows where you got like the kids making a brigade to save the world kinda cute stuff but this was like.....on a whole other global level jeez πŸ˜‚
these last two episodes have been so emotional tho, I kinda knew something might because the plot wouldn't not allow something this deep of a lore to occur but man my eye muscles are trying so hard to not get caught up in how emotional this all is 😭

glad that Takumi got more screen time tho, it just felt a bit like he was kinda tossed to the side a lil as a character despite being family to Buchio, although Mu-chan was the MC but still was kinda funny how Buchio being a big plot to the story yet his own peep didn't have as much attention in the show ahahah

omg didn't think they'd mention about the snake lady that caused a scene towards the start of the series, I actually forgot about her whoops :')

I'm so glad this was a happy ending and they didn't go the route of all the supernatural people go baibai and disappears because I would like so not live up to that I woulda been so pissed off and out for blood from whatever fucker let the space fart rip

What a wet fart of a conclusion. The oni attack was randomly cause by the Fukushima disaster and it randomly ended too without any meaningful input from our characters

+1

The most terrible ending writers could come up with, a la cheap Hollywood production, dumb and meaningless :(

I was going to rate it quite high initially tho after the last episode it's only 5/10 :(

What was the deal with the baby in the credits that had the snake goddess' flower bundle? was that her? or was that her child?-I thought she lost her child.

edit: In the end I did not like this show. It was overly emotionally manipulative for no good reason.

Decent finale.

Overall, an average show. Too much useless romance crap. This could have been so much better. It's such a same because there are definitely not enough of decent yokai anime.

With how unpredictable the show could be, I feared it might even pull a bad end. But gladly, the children were able to save the Yokai world!

And while the show sometimes felt disconnected and some segments didn't hit for me, it had some tearjacking episodes aswell and delivers a strong emotional message!

8/10.

Hm... I don´t know...

I feel like they tried too hard with the drama. Most of the times I think they tried too much to draw out drama out of minor things, making the drama scenes forced or unnatural, and so and a few cringy scenes were also born.

I almost dropped this anime also because sometimes boring/uninteresting. The world building and everything else was already there; no introduction whatsoever. So I guess this made me careless.

They are good people(?), but I didn´t really enjoy Buchio and Jirou as characters. They were too shallow/bland. I guess they were one of the main reasons why I didn´t enjoy this enough.

These random "onis" were too random for my taste.

Not a solid bad anime, but not good either. It´s somewhere between average and fine. At least the conclusion/ending was a happy one.
Gonna go with 6/10 at best. 5.5/10 if it were possible.

Mu-chan and Nakagawa lovely characters, though. Car-kun also a nice guy (or rather, car xD).
