  The official website of the television anime adapting Kimama Aoboshi's Kinoko Inu (Kinokoinu: Mushroom Pup) manga unveiled the main cast, staff, a teaser promo, and two teaser visuals (pictured above) on Wednesday. The television anime is scheduled to premiere in Fall 2024. Daiki Kobayashi (Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun) and Yuuto Uemura (Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudou-bu) are starring as Kinoko Inu and Hotaru, respectively. Staff Director: Kagetoshi Asano (Yuru Camp△ episode director) Series Composition: Jin Tanaka ("Oshi no Ko") Character Design: Daisuke Endou (Hakyuu Houshin Engi sub character design) Music: Akiyuki Tateyama (Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi) Studio: C-Station Aoboshi drew the slice of life manga in Comic Ryu magazine from July 2010 to February 2022. Tokuma Shoten shipped the 15th and final volume in May 2022. The manga has a cumulative 1.75 million cumulative copies of its volumes in circulation.
