They tried to rip off Angel Beats and IMO failed miserably at it. It's hard to have some emotional bond with characters that have no personality nor impact on the story.

Agreed, pretty average anime, nothing really eye catching other than the visuals, which is a given since it's PA works anyway

well well well, another good underated anime, good concept, goor art, good story, yeah it is i dont cry that much but i saw the feelings of the story🔥🔥

Farewell scene at the end is a direct copy of similar one from Angel Bears. But since characters in Irodoku were completely impactful, did not contributed to the story whatsoever and nothing happened throughout 13 episodes, there were no emotional reaction to this farewell.

I'm not going to defend the character writing of this show, but I don't see the similarities between this ending and Angel Beats's ending. Can you explain how you think they're similar?

I watched both, and I don't see the similarities besides them being farewells.
