| Akari, Takuma's sister, is how I pictures from this show from the manga. Curious but also caring for him. However, it seems she showed a lot of curiousity in Mina. Not a bad episode although nothing too much changed between Takuma's relationship with Mina. Seems this anime is trying to get Mina to show as much as human-like behavior as possible. This is done through her interactions with Akari. I thought it was kinda cute for an episode. |

| Sniff sniff... Mmm, titanium. Wasn't it lucky for MC that the imouto just so happens to have an interspecies fetish? We also get a glimpse of the parents and who I suspect is the true hero of this anime, Mina's previous owner. Dude in a wheelchair who hacked his robot trying to give it a personality, before giving up and just buying a better model. To be honest, I'd rather be following him than Takuma, who's still getting horny over Mina and blushing like an idiot high schooler MC. Bathing scene, check. Beach episode, next. We're getting good mileage out of Mina's waterproofing. |

| I thought this episode was ok as Takuma's sister, Akari, was meddling a bit too much although Takuma told her he didn't mind but he actually does. On a side note I'm curious as to what's on the SD card and I think they are interactions/memories Mina has saved with Takuma. |
| This is definitely my least favourite thing this season but in no way do i dislike it, I enjoy Snake eyes and Mina's dynamic its pretty funny and cute but man is Akari a vibe I hope we get more of her she really brings up the show for me. |
| Lowkey best episode yet! Man this ep had me dying. Takuma’s sister is hilarious, who ever heard of an interspecies romance fetish lmao? I loved the girl chat she and Mina had and all the crazy hypotheticals she went through to see how Mina feels about him. Already seeing a lot of signs of Mina developing emotions and genuine agency. Mina talking about how happy she was that her previous owner didn’t like and sold her because it let her meet Takuma and get a ring was so cute 😭 idc if you’re the “cheap edition” or not, Mina. You’re amazing and Takuma lucky to have you! I think that memory card that Akari gave her will come in handy in the future, probably something will go wrong with Mina or her mind and they’ll have to reboot her from that. “A conversation between girls is secret” awww that was so cute, Mina is learning social skills at a blazing pace. Just last week she didn’t know what it meant to “want” or “like” something, now she wants new outfits, to surprise Takuma and to bathe with him! Speaking of those outfits, the two new outfits we got for her this week were so cute. Loved this episode a lot, can’t wait for the next |

| One of the best little sisters in this world. And anime depicting interspecies relationships, sure - they exist, I seek them out, and I love them for what they are (love them for utilization and exploration of that concept alone, independently and apart from whatever other strengths or failings they may have). But I hardly expected a character in-universe within the world of any anime to explicitly refer to themselves as an interspecies love fan as well. It's as if this series was aiming to capture and conquer my heart from the word "go". |
| It was a sweet episode; I thought Takuma's sister would cause trouble for the couple, but it was the opposite. She gave her blessing and helped Mina a lot with the creams, clothes, and storing her information, which might be very important in the future. I'm also intrigued by Mina's previous owner and the more modern model of Mina that was mentioned a lot in this episode. |

| Funny how the sister has a Human / Robot relationship preference. I thought they could of handled the talk better, but over all it was alright. I feel bad the upgrades she wants are so expensive. Maybe later she can get an upgrade that enables mouth talking and expressions. She looked really cute in that new outfit and slippers. |

I also saw the manga has a very high rating, so that makes me even more confused about the anime score, unless the anime has some big divergence from the source or something. I might start following along with the manga to see for myself. |

| @ejleon yeh sure no problem, once I catch up to episode 3 in the manga I will give you my thoughts on it. I quickly looked at the first few pages earlier and at least in the beginning it seems almost identical.  |

| I was wondering if we’d see some kind of denial from Akari when it came to her brother being married to a robot, but turns out she’s actually way into that lol, this made for some funny scenes when she was questioning Mina and reacting to how she feels about Takuma, the moral dilemma was one of my favorites, it’s a classic dilemma but Mina’s like “nope, wouldn’t happen” lol. We also got teased about who her former owner was, based on what she said about him it may be a big part of why she’s starting to have emotions, I’m also betting that SD Card will be important later, I’m hoping it might prevent some sadness somehow. And damn Akari might be overqualified in the fashion department, Mina was looking super cute in that hairstyle and outfit, also it was funny how Takuma felt flustered seeing her strip here even if she’s got a robot body, I mean I can’t lie, it’s pretty hot anyway lol. And then after discussing birthdays, we got a husband and wife bath scene which was short lived but cute nonetheless, I’m glad her body allows for stuff like this, it’s like taking a bath with a toaster except it’s not deadly and the toaster is a beautiful babe lol. |
| Not sure if Akari is just a huge perv or a romanticist ...probably both Mina looked cute in that outfit and hair style. Lampblasted said: Sniff sniff... Mmm, titanium. She put the perfume in her hair I think assuming her hair doesnt have the same sensors as her body unless it was on her clothes idk. Also weird little fact, metal doesnt have a smell of it's own. The smell of metal is the smell of a chemical reaction that happens when body oils come in contact with it. Titanium is one of the less reactive metals though I think unless I am mistaken. |

| Akari's presence makes Mina know more about Takuma now. When Akari found out that her brother had a robot wife, she surprisingly supported Takuma openly lol. And also we see more sides of Mina, starting from her facial expressions and clothes too. She was cute too in this episode.  |
| So, the MC's sister finally meets his robot waifu. She's surprisingly receptive of her which is the exact opposite of how I thought it'd go. In a way, I'm kinda glad it didn't. It sped things up quite a bit. I'm also glad Takuma didn't try to hide Mina either. Even if she's a robot wife, he's trying to be honest about his feelings instead of hiding them from other people. Also, I thought robot marriages would already be kinda common and may be accepted in this anime's universe but I guess not. We learn more about Mina. So, there is a more advanced version of this robot called Super Mina which is much more responsive. I wonder if Mina herself would receive an upgrade that would make her more expressive... The ED implies that she will. I hope she does. Tho I doubt she's gonna get the upgrade that costs 7.5 million yen... The company probably programmed her to ask for their owner to buy that deluxe set or whatever. Akari is certainly a strange creature. But at least she bought Mina some cute outfits. She looks so cute in them. Giving her a memory card with Mina's backup was important. But I wonder if it actually would become relevant in a later episode. After all, it needs to be a routine backup. Maybe they will keep updating the backups off-screen. Who knows. If the backup is old it might become a problem. First Takuma got flustered seeing Mina's robussy while she was undressing but was ok to be in the bath with her naked... Ok... Glad Mina is waterproof. It opens up the possibility for more fun stories in future episodes. |

The manga is much further along, and the story is a VERY slow burn, the 3.5x speed crowd is going to shit on something like this as 'boring'.
| @Paulternative I wish people like that would just think more like "well I don't enjoy a slow pace...so I won't watch or rate this kind of show" but you are right, some of them will probably rate it 1 for that reason :( If the quality stays like this I hope this show can at least finish off the season over a 7 |
