I am a gamer and I have played both Replicant and Automata. when I first heard an anime was coming out based on this game, I was thrilled and excited but also worried about adaption. I thought they would adapt it 1:1 or very close to the game and it would be really boring to watch for gamers which will be the majority of the audience, but in my opinion, they explained the story better than the game, and I really liked the anime. The anime explained the story of 2A better and overall character development was better in anime. Of course action scenes were far better in the game than in season 1 cour 1 of the anime and the OP and ED were also ok in season 1 but cour 2 is looking more promising.

Its OP and ED are far better than cour 1 and action is also improved. I am really enjoying the changes in the anime story derived from the game. Even gamers who know the whole major plot and have an idea of a potential ending, are still enjoying this show waiting for the next episode impatiently and guessing what is going to happen next like any other anime-only watcher. I wish they also adapt the Replicant series.
