| Surprise, Dark River is under control of the Imperial court/Shadow to keep checks on the Jianghu. Su Muyu never even had the chance to leave Dark River, but we all already know that from the main series. As the saying goes, there is no golden basin to wash your hands in. Once you're in an assassin organization, you'll never leave it unless dead. Looking forward to season 2 taking place in the Imperial capital. 8/10 |

Surprise, Dark River is under control of the Imperial court/Shadow to keep checks on the Jianghu.
