Will this season be focused more on adventures or SoL?

I'm an anime only so I'm curious if season 3 will be more adventure focused or if it'll stick to the mundane daily lives of Rudeus and his family? I don't mind the SoL parts of MT at all, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want more adventures and even more world building.

And in your opinion how good is the material for this season in comparison to the previous 2?

Pls put a spoiler warning for spoilers for anime only fans just in case.

I won’t say any actual spoilers but it’s mostly gonna be a mix of SOL and Fighting and adventure. There will be the biggest bombshells dropped this upcoming season and if you liked season 2 you’ll love what comes next.

The SoL will be present throughout the rest of mushoku tensei but it will be more action focused than season 2.

part 1 will be like season 2 part 2
with probably the biggest turning point out of the 5

season 3 part 2 will be a lot more adventuring
(tho I'd preferably use the term action rather than adventuring in this case)

It’s it’s two cour first half will be mostly SoL with action at the end. Second half will be mostly action/adventure.

they'll definetely split it

And without a doubt, we'll get an Eris ova before part 1 drops like they did with sylphie

If anything I just hope they don't rush it. But if you're really interested in the story, pls do check out the light novels

Season 3 will likely be adapting volume 13-15 first cour, and then for the second cour volume 16-18, which volume 13 & 18 are SoL, so season 3 would be more action/adventure based

Sol only in the first half of each cour.
s3 will has 3 big battles unlike s2 which only fighting hydra
if you really love action then yeah s3 is peak season.

@hatiy ending the season s3 in vol 18 doest make sense, its such anti climax for ending it with sol.
vol 17 is the perfect ending for s3

@xiMii I'd agree, season 3 is best ending off at volume 17 but its likely bind would end up continuing the 3 volumes per season trend, hopefully I end up getting proven wrong

Well if they do only adapt 5 volumes in 23 episodes i’m just gonna be happy because they are going to cut less content from the light novel and that means more details and i hope more stuff from the diary

Last season 2 part 2 did manage to get a point from me make it 8/10 rate score from me. thanks to there was an adventure and battle scene with high quality. jesus chris I can't rate part 1 because it's full on sol I have no choice but to rate 7/10. I know they just doing their jobs to stay faithful to the adaptation which cost them the entire 12 episodes full on sol despite past season is full on adventure.

Long story short, only the first 4 episodes should be SoL, after that is when the anime will reach what the fans consider the peak of the novel.

So I'm an anime only watcher, I don't know what happens in the novels. But in S3 I'll be looking forward to an anime that portrays healthy polyamory as opposed to just the typical harem trope. Of course I don't know if Rudeus will end up with a harem or not, but my point is that ENM doesn't get portrayed in mainstream media and I think it would be great if it did.

@Almus If in the end, you don't hate Paul, then you don't have to worry. It's a very healthy and lovely big fam and just imagine it as an Isekai version of Clannad After Story, (of course, plus polyamory).

it will start with some SoL as vol. 13 is mostly SoL, but otherwise it is pure adventure. the next lot of SoL is in vol 18 which will probably not be animated this season.
