First off Rudy is not a minor, secondly Roxy did not form a relationship with him when he was a minor with the intent of having a sexual relationship with him.

Clearly you don’t understand what grooming is and all it takes is a simple google search

Know where does it state you have to be a minor, & by definition Rudy just turned 15 into a young adult in MT world. So your argument falls apart.

& to your point I agree my only point was criticizing how this situation was handled. It came off very manipulative on Roxy’s part while watching

there are two reasons why i think it was justifiable

1. she helped Rudeus get back on his feet and didn't want to interfere with his relationship with Sylphie (thats why she tried to leave in the last episode)

2. its pretty different in the LN, they skipped all the conversions that happened before this scene which led to them sleeping together, Roxy didn't want to do it before but after talking to Elinalise and the group, she decided it was the only option left, the anime makes it look like she got her chance to get together with Rudeus which is pretty disappointing

Fair enough, I just wish they expanded it more. Feels unnatural

@CrispyG Even by your own definition you are still wrong. "Grooming is a tactic...", this was a one off situation where you can argue Roxy took advantage of Rudy, this was not a series of events or actions taken by Roxy with the purpose of putting herself in a position to take advantage of Rudy. Grooming is a process, not a one off event, otherwise every single instance of sexual abuse would be considered grooming.

Aye bro you got it, idc about arguing semantics. The post was just point out how anime made Roxy look manipulative by having Roxy fuck Rudy after his parents death. They should’ve just expanded more scenes and it would’ve been more natural, or have Roxy find out Rudy reincarnated

No grooming took place here...

Roxy absolutely took advantage of Rudy's mental state though. What she did is 100% something that should be criticized, it was not really an acceptable action.

Besides if it were swapped, everyone would be saying how awful Rudy is, just because Roxy is a character you like doesn't mean the actions she took at that moment should be void of criticism.
