The game was made well and played really nice. Looking forward to how the series will be!

Trying to watch all available anime series so you won't have to anymore, the list of anime I can recommend is still in progress, tho

@musicbychoc I think it's gameplay is done quite well.
I'm not much of a fan of the genre itself, but if it's your thing I'm sure you can have plenty of fun with it!
Also storywise it seemed interesting so I'm more than eager to see how it plays out as Anime.
All in all I personally would give it a 7/10 probably

I never got very far in the game story wise, but I thought it was well executed, especially the rice growing and harvesting aspect. I look forward to this anime adaptation to fill me in on the storyline I missed.

I loved the game! I’ve completed it three times. The story was good, the rice harvesting was very in depth but also fun, and the combat is super satisfying! I highly recommend it.

The anime should be entertaining (I remember thinking while playing that it would make for a solid one season anime!). I’m sure it won’t surpass the game for me, but I will enjoy watching the story play out in a different medium.

I'm curious why they're making an anime of this game all of a sudden. While a neat game that combines 2D action combat and farming simulation (though most didn't like the latter part) it didn't seem that popular during it's release and it's kind of old now. Unless a surprise sequel is in the works.

Having finished the game few years ago, I must say it's one of the most entertaining 2.5D hack and slasher. Growing rice might be painful, but as you are getting power ups from it, it's all worth it. Story is pretty cool. Hope the anime does it well.

The story can pretty much fit in 4 episode max if they do not put slice of life anyway.

A lot of games has fanbases, just that when the game was release it was hardly talked about in general gaming discourse. It felt like a sleeper/hidden gem. Just feels like odd timing, could have struck when the iron was hot so the speak. Kind of the reverse situation of like when Kill La Kill got a game many, many years later after the anime hype almost completely died down. Regardless it's nice it got an anime adaptation but I was curious if there is more in store for the title. Guess just be typical anime advertisement for original source though since they hit that sales milestone.

I am using a translation engine.
It is an indie game, and the development was originally started by two people.
I imagined it would be a success if I sold 30,000 copies, but now I've sold 1.5 million copies.
At the time of release, there was a complete shortage.
It seems that the creators never imagined that their game would be made into a comic or anime.
It seems that talk about making it into an anime started about a year after its release, but personally, I think it's only natural that there would be such a delay given the quality of the game.

Unfortunately the anime did not cover the RPG-elements of the game like item-management and crafting.

At least they could cover more about crafting the fertilizer which has influence on the rice you'll harvest, and the conservation of food and choice of dinner which has influence on the abilities of you and your NPC's.
