So they are still in the game? ngl those last pages are kinda confusing to me lol

And you are telling me that Sugosugi wouldn't turn evil is he (she) got estrogen pills?!

As for story itself, I quite enjoyed it. Author focused kinda too much on flashbacks which had negative effect on main story (even if it had my favorite parts) and basically skip "game world" of this story.
Maybe the author could write realistic drama rather than a fantasy action story?
Manga recommendation:
- Spy x Family (Ch.107/? - biweekly) | Sakamoto Days (Ch.191/? - weekly)
- MARRIAGETOXIN (Ch.108/? - weekly) | Machi and Oboro (Ch.16/? - biweekly)
- Make the Exorcist Fall in Love (Ch.78/? - biweekly)
- You and I Are Polar Opposites (Ch.65 - Finished)
Anime recommendation:
- Deca-Dence (Finished) | Wave, Listen to Me! (Finished)
- If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die (Finished)
- Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater (Finished)

Satisfying ending. Gonna miss this series. Pacing was a bit all over the place but I might do a reread to see how it flows together. Also Sugosugi is trans omg.

@Nieznajomy43 I think they are still in the game. The implication from previous chapter seemed to be that sugosugi and error don't have real life physical bodies anymore because they became integrated with the game (I might be wrong but I think that is what happened). So if sugosugi is now living a normal life as a girl, it is probably because error is the new game master in control of what's happening. The main cast seem to be living normal lives and working on themselves and error made a normal reality for them to do that. I think that if this is the case, then the author probably could have made it a little clearer. Since the gaming world was merged with reality I'm guessing that you can't undo that and so now we are left with a simulation of reality.

The other explanation would be that true reality (an actual one separated from the game world) was restored and error is just floating around in some cyber space type thing. But this doesn't explain how or why sugosugi would appear in a new pysical body.

This series was undenaibly messy. The pacing was iffy to say the least, the art ranged from great to poor and rhe narritive left a lot be be desired at certain points. But regardless, the series always managed to ressonate with me. As an amatuer video game dev, a gamer, a person who gets depressed easily, and a person who loves the art of storytelling, I can't help but appreciate the manga for what it tries to do. It conveys parts of the creative proccess with the nuance only a creative could generate. I dont think the series is a masterpiece by a long shot. Hell, sometimes I have difficulty justfiying the 7/10 rating I gave. However, it was a unique ride and something I probabaly wont see again. And that is a praise a numerical score can seldom represent.

Pretty half baked series. Not the worst out there, but the highs were never particularly high either.

As it comes to a close I overall liked this one. The production delays were the main damper for me but I feel like the future readers who get to binge it will have a better time. It has a great cast and takes its time to explore them. The plot never felt rushed and this feels like a complete story. It started as such a different type of story than it ends up becoming but that is a feature not a bug in the story telling. It takes time to build the world and expand the focus while successfully bringing it full circle.

@Captainjeddy

I always assumed that this game (story) was only japanese thing and rest of the world was saved from this, so I would appreciate if author showed reaction of outside world or ruin of japan/tokyo. And arguably it can somewhat cheapen final resolution, like how much Roku's effort had impact on his serialization and how much Error messing with the code.

Honestly I wouldn't mind Sugosugi being dead dead, while everyone returned to real world, like everyone gathered for that "The Game Devil" even (from chapter one) but nothing happened and everyone (including Error) just went home.
