| I kinda wish they didn't add competition into this show again. They feel lacklusters and repetitive in nature, and usually, another plot overshadows it. At least Tatsuya and the others are on guard this time. Seems like an episode building further into the arc with behind the scenes stuff going on. Erika and their group also gets attacked so they really do need to be on their guard at all times now. |

| Satisfying episode with Mayumi's adorable-lovestruck-face... and Erika is back! Yes! I personally disagree with Stark700. I'd love it if they added back the competition like they did back then, and by doing so, I will get to see the other interesting supporting characters they animated. It was actually fun but it was too short to begin with from the previous season. For this one, we only got bits of it, which was saddening to say the least. P.S. 13 episodes aren't enough to satisfy me this season... 🥲 2 episodes left. 😖 |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Finally on our way to Kyoto.. confrontation with Zhou getting closer! Always nice to see Mayumi senpai. She was so gorgeous today as always, Tatsuya initially turning down her request to solve Nakura’s death annoyed me. She shouldn’t have had to, but glad she was able to convince him using the Yokohama situation. I mean how can you say no to Mayumi with the puppy dog eyes? Maya oba-san been getting finer and finer every time she’s on screen lol. They got her aging like fine wine. So under all that tough exterior she does have some genuine love and concern for Tatsuya as her nephew, cute. Hayama being so cold and callous about Tatsuya got even Kuroba upset. One of the themes of this season going back to that first arc has been about how Magicians are viewed as tools, I didn’t expect that same line of thinking from Hayama. The yotsubas in general don’t even care for Tatsuya and even tried killing him at birth??? Just a big bombshell convo there. If Tatsuya and Miyuki ever found that out.. Always love seeing the various types of magic in this franchise, ninjutsu was a cool challenge for Leo and the others and had Ichijo not shown up to save their asses, that corrosive spell probably would’ve finished them off. |

| Mayumi's dad more than likely suspected that there was a chance that Nakura wouldn't come back from his mission. Given how much Mayumi was laying out the table she really cared for her retainers. Quite the bombshell that Hayama dropped regarding the families view on Tatsuya. The clearing op to find and neutralize the ancient mages was pretty nice. Been a while since we seen Erika and Leo show their skills. The enemies attempt to rid all traces of their involvement sure was ghasly. Nice save on Masaki's part though. |

| I'm mainly happy that Erika got a lot more screentime as she, Leo and Mikihiko had some action on their end in dealing with some tricky caster users. Things did escalate a lot when things were looking calmer and it was good timing that Masaki turned up and sort the enemy out. Hayama was ruthless with his own opinion about how little the Yotsuba family cares for Tatsuya. Maya wasn't happy with his tone there, as she did showcase that she does care for Tatsuya for who he is, which was nice to see. =) Not the strongest episode, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. |
| this ep felt very... old fashion?!?! esp the ninja fight, looked like some old anime. animation looked a bit stiff but in some scenes, was good sakuga (21:53) btw 13 eps is NOT enough for this smh. needed at least 15/20 but that's up to the producers ig  tsun |

Just a suggestion, don't watch it, go do something better with your time than to come bitch and whine about a show you thoroughly dislike, we don't need to know how much you dislike it.

| The finale is unfortunate, I wanted to see if Mikihiko will succeed with his last-ditch effort. Lady Yotsuba's dialgoue with Kuroba was COLD. I can hardly believe that this season is already nearing it's end, I don't want to wait another 2 years for a sequel 🥲 |

| Hm yeah things are getting difficult with the death of the body guard. Now searching for Zhou more and more, but the attack at the end was definitely scary. Also the Yotsuba not caring at all about Tatsuya like that was disturbing. |

| Poor Mayumi has to turn to Tatsuya to find out what happened to her bodyguard. He's a sap for agreeing to help her. Those 3 by the lake were almost taken out by the enemy caster, I hate to say it but they were outclassed until Ichijo showed up to save the day. |

| i guess everyone's out scouting the venue for this year's thesis thing. it took me a while to figure out who was it that saved erica and the other two; i thought for a second it was lina, but she couldn't have returned back to japan. guess ichijo's a friendly now instead of enemy unlike last year lol |

| Whoa, it's very nice to see some more Ichijo in action. It seems as he also went ahead of time to see the area. The fighting is as always incredible. I also really love the fact that it's heavily focused on ancient magic. Ancient magic seems something that we've seen in more animes like Naruto, based on elements and all that so it's very relatable. As such I'm very curious to see how they've implemented it in this universe and understand it fully, as what concepts we've grasped so far are very cool and well thought (props to the mangaka for that too, will have to read the manga later, it definitely enticed me enough). |
