| feel like these 10+ year old subs i'm watching are not very clear. had to go back and rewatch basically the whole scene of toma and kanzaki talking despite how damn boring it was to get through the first time. don't know why BD subs get rid of the op and ed otherwise i'd watch those and probably be less confused. seems like they basically have to erase index's memories, i guess those 15% of her memories, in order for her not to die? because her brain will get overwhelmed since she remembers literally everything. i guess? not sure i understand why kanzaki and stiyl are playing up this villain act though. index doesn't remember anything anyways so can't they just keep reintroducing themselves as her allies? |

Like am I not understanding something or why Kaori and the other guy didint explain Index from the start?If they are good friends like they should be there when she lost her memory 1 year ago why not explain what happens to her and explain that she gonna die? | Kaori can't afford to buy a new pair of pants? She looks weird. Her photographic memory and reading those books are the problem, why people are pursuing her, so it was the worst idea to have her do so. But they also said that humans would fall apart from just knowing the info, yet Index doesn't? And she probably has used magic before to heal herself, which she said would harm people. They have not explained why that does not affect Index. Why would Index die? She is not a computer, she is a human, and there are people with photographic memories that exist with long lives. Why are they attacking him in the first place. Both Stiyl & Kaori, attacked without communicating, explaining, or asking anything. Why does nobody choose to communicate before attacking? Why didn't they just track her magical hat? I thought they said her hat gave her position away, but they went after Touma. Komoe carried him back to the house? Need better writing here. So they beat him up so he could fight them? To scare him away? Does not make sense, they can literally track her hat wherever she goes. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
