Skip for now and onto The Second Raid?

I just finished Full Metal Panic season one and... 6/10. I have heard that The Second Raid onwards is when the anime gets better (as well as the animation). Would it be alright to skip Fumoffu for now and jump into TSR? I am obviously going to come back to this eventually (probably after I finish FMAB), since I heard that this "season" of FMP is hilarious. Thank you!

I watched fumoffu after I finished 1-3. I thought it was nice to get through it all and then come back to enjoy fumoffu seeing as it isn’t important to the main story and is mostly just comedy.

I would recommend Fumoffu over Second Raid to be honest. In fairness though Fumoffu's all sidestory so you can do either

It's hard to remember, it's been a few years 😅. I don't think there's any continuing plot from between Fumoffu and Second Raid
