If the writers took any inspiration from HollyLand (manga, never got an anime) this may just be one of the best street fight anime's to come out in recent times. The synopsis and the first two episodes remind me of a lot of that manga. that's why I am asking. If you have not read Hollyland I'd give it a try. Has anyone read it and know if there are any strong similarities??

No, I wouldn't say so. Yes, the premise sounds very similar but the direction is completely different.

@Maj1me well darn, but hey thanks for replying! I want a Hollyland anime so bad it kills me. So when I saw this I got very excited. But I still liked the first two episodes, so i look forward to the rest.

It's certainly not bad. However if we were to get a holyland anime, I hope it's a good studio.
