Okay so i've been wondering this for a while. What if they were adults and if they were, the romance and premise would be much more strong and realistic? I mean yes high schoolers cute and fun etc but wouldnt they fit better if they were a little older? 'm not a perv or anything but imagine this setting with an adult couple. it would be more independent but at the same time more dependent of each other. The high schoolers does not portray this premise as it should. idk if i could explained myself correctly but I'm not hating or anything im in love with them as it is. just curious to see them as adults.

Yeah, if they were adults, this show could be more serious. But since this is a comedy show, I don't think they want it to really be serious.

Yeah, if they were adults, this show could be more serious. But since this is a comedy show, I don't think they want it to really be serious.

It'll be fine. If the anime continues going at the pace it's currently on right now, it would require around 150-200 episodes to reach the timeskip. Maybe 60-80 bare minimum if they speed it up.

As much as I hate the timeskip, it was required for the story to progress. Yozakura Family might've turned into one piece without it.

Even if they were adults, comedy is the focus of the story, not romance. I would not expect any romance development between the 2.
