| More depth into Aoi's past... This episode felt kinda personal for him considering the one he's dealing with is someone he used to look up to. Himari of course gets involved in this arc as well. I feel like Aoi has gone through so much shit this season, perhaps more than the other guys. |

| The perils of Nachi purposely making Aoi go to Momochi House, he just wants Aoi to disappear, but that everyone labels him as a lunatic. The candidate who could not be Omamori-sama, Nachi assigns Aoi because he thinks that he's the black sheep of the family and his schoolmates, and he just did a deal with the devil without realizing his position in the case. Likewise, the letter that sent her to the Momochi House, it was all Nachi's plan to regain control of the House and Omamori-sama as the new Nue, out of reach of human hands. Even as Kasha reappears to give context to Himari, Nachi's spell is quite the complex spell to break, and to get there, the once-only use of the winter cherry lantern guides her way, even if death will await her in the spiritual realm. The same lantern providing the payment to the Shelf of Hearts to see Aoi's history, it instead unlocks hers, and not any light of day to his. And since this can only be opened once, the answers are just as tempting to know, other than the clear choice of drawing Aoi's drawer and seeing his past memories. Who is the Aoi of the past? |

| Himari choosing Aoi who she just met over her parents is crazy ngl lmao. But it is shoujo so I can’t be too shocked. I guess her parents would want her to focus on living her life and her own happiness anyway. So it was the teacher who orchestrated everything from the start? Wow, taking advantage of Aoi who was already lonely and vulnerable because of his spiritual abilities manifesting.. this guy makes Kasha look like a normal rival or something. Speaking of Kasha, he and Himari bantering today had me dying. They could actually be good friends Next ep will be interesting. After all this Aoi better return Himari feelings lol |
