Some of my questions tho :-
1. Why did Ali killed Geji
2. Who was teddy, who made him, why did no one knows about teddy
3. Who was brau, what's his relationship with teddy as teddy know him
4. Who did brau killed and how,why ?
5. Was bora just a big meat doll that easy to defeat ?
6. What happened to Abdullah's chip
7. What about cockroaches
8. If brau was as powerful as atom then who made him handicapped
9. If Abdullah think he was a human, why can't he thought I can't pee, I can't shit what kind of human I am ?

I don't like several things in the ending though but it was a good watch but ending was just felt boring to me 8/10 for me.

I too dont know answers to most of these questions so when I asked them on ChatGPT, this is what I got. (Note, This is not my answer, but from ChatGPT. My suggestion if you have followup questions, directly ask them in ChatGPT. Even if the answers may not be 100% accurate, I'm sure you'll get some satisfactory answers.)

1. Why did Ali kill Geji?
- Ali killed Geji because he was following orders as part of his mission, and Geji posed a threat to his objectives.

2. *Who was Teddy, who made him, and why does no one know about Teddy?
- Teddy was a highly advanced robot created by Dr. Tenma. His existence was kept secret due to the potential implications of advanced robotics technology.

3. Who was Brau, and what's his relationship with Teddy as Teddy knows him?
- Brau was another advanced robot created by Dr. Tenma. He and Teddy were both creations of the same creator.

4. Who did Brau kill and why?
- Brau killed a human scientist named Dr. Abdullah as part of his mission objectives, likely to eliminate any potential threats to his plans.

5. Was Bora just a big meat doll that was easy to defeat?
- Bora was a formidable opponent, but ultimately, he was defeated by the combined efforts and strategic planning of the protagonists.

6. What happened to Abdullah's chip?
- Abdullah's chip was likely destroyed or removed during the course of the story, possibly to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

7. What about cockroaches?
- Cockroaches are likely a reference to the insect-like robots used for espionage and surveillance purposes in the series.

8. If Brau was as powerful as Atom, then who made him handicapped?
- Brau may have been handicapped or limited in some way to prevent him from becoming too powerful or uncontrollable, possibly due to concerns about his potential to cause harm.

9. If Abdullah thought he was human, why couldn't he realize he couldn't perform bodily functions?
- Abdullah's belief that he was human might have been limited to his cognitive abilities and understanding of identity, rather than physical bodily functions like urination and defecation. Additionally, his programming may have prevented him from questioning his humanity in certain ways.

Hope this helps

ok I just read, and few of them are really satisfactory for me, so for me Pluto keep as "bad show" just because it have a slightly interesting questions and world building, people say it's "amazing, with good characters and interesting plot" but ot don't worked for me.
that's said you can keep liking Pluto, I will not say you have a bad taste or are trying to making things up to try make Pluto looks good when it actually aren't (nothing on this phrase is my opinion), the plot just don't worked for me but worked for you, and that's ok, in the end the only person here losing is me, I have one less thing than you to like.

Just kidding. no harm in not liking a show. Not everyone has the same appetite or pov of how a story should be written or how a story chooses to convey its message. If everyone had same thoughts that would be just boring.

really mate? I thought this show was dropped at the perfect time, the parallels with the Iraq War in a scifi context was brilliant. Plus, it showed how other countries really don't care about killing civilians in the process that much but they do so only just to kill their enemies. At the time I was watching this, gaza's civilians were getting bombed by Israel in the hopes of killing hamas. (the scene where epsilon asks thracias soldiers to pay a little attention to who's around before nuking speaks volumes). At the time where chatgpt has swooped the world, this seemed it came at the perfect time. When the old man said to north no 2 , that the music created by AI isn't real music, because he believed there's no heart to it. When Ai takes away jobs, people will ask the same thing.

But the ending bro, it was like they are building bora from the very starting and the payoff and explanation about bora is so fucking boring bland (just a fucking meat ball). And I don't get the reason behind Geji's death. Author just killed most of the character for the sake of killing them.

The first 6 episodes were fucking fantastic but the last two was like wrap it up author.

to be honest i don't care that much for international conflicts and such, because there are very little things i can do, i'm sorry that this is happening? of course yes, but i will not spend too much energy in it since there's very little i can do (end of politcs here pls)

this was one of the best scenes in the anime, i really like it, it's really amazing.

exactly because of this i thing the anime is not that good and dated, exactly because chatGPT exists the questions of this anime don't fit in the moder world, when i first watched i though the original was published in thr 80's but no it was in 2009, so when it came out the questions it makes ware already dated and old. for me a anime that makes more actual question is "AI no Idenshi/The Gene of AI" the came out slightly before pluto and for me is better than i in regarding asking questions about AI and such.

vinnywizanime said:

yeah and his part is basically 10min of a ass hole old man, offending a robot that is trying to be kind, just because he hates robots, basically north no 2 part is completly useless in the show, if you take out nothing changes, actually gets better.

For one thing , the manga actually started to come out from sep 5 2003 , if anything it ended in 2009. The criticism is petty , i mean i dont expect every show to perfectly age well, and Pluto imo has aged well or rather will age well considering when robots will become common everywhere, i think this show predicts the relationship between robots and humans , wouldnt you agree with that?

TatsuDragunov said:

The old man represents how the older generation fails to adapt to the newer era, perhaps that representation should grant a point? I liked the old mans development and understand his hatred for new tech considering hes a music composer and is clearly not happy that you could create a damn music piece by just pushing a button (chatgpt can help make musical melodies too)

If anything the anime is mainly to show a connection with robots and humans and how robots could be exploited, why do you want for it to fit todays world when it talks to go further , i brought chatgpt for implying that you can create something without hardwork which would piss people from the older gen as it certainly did to duncan (the old man).
The north no 2 side story is loved a lot in the pluto fandom as i do to , no way were removing that. Heavy disagreement with this one.

I havent seen the gene of AI , so im not goint to conclude on who does a better job , but i certainly will watch it now that you mention it.The gene of AI came out way after plutos manga did and it will have a better foresight for having come after , so i dont get this point at all considering the manga came way before and only the anime didnt.

You can phrase it anyway you want , but you missed bits about duncan being the old man who hates to adapt to new tech , imagine you could create movies only by creating AI videos , many directors would be pissed off by this growing tech. Sir duncans frustration towards robots and AI seems realistic, considering hes a music composer , he would hate that you could create music by just pushing a button , i guess you really arent interested about the debate about "is AI art really art" . You might say AI's music is music , but say that to a music composer who works hours trying to perfect a melody only so in the future you could create music by AI. That would certainly frustrate anyone who works passionately. North no 2 shows how robots in the future could be exploited , btw you have to admit the piano piece was beautiful , and in the future people would rather have robot butlers, i would recommend watching a documentary about AI which just made me think how great pluto is - https://youtu.be/VCCgdRF0AIA?si=rxML05dCcyoJCpHQ
Yep the story would probably be the same if the side story wouldve been taken out , but it tied it all together as north no 2 is one of the advanced robtos and it gave a good tease to how pluto does its murders, we love the north no 2 side story because it shows how the older gen fails to adapt to the advance tech , we love it because it shows war trauma after being used and to move on to something new, we love it because of duncans beautiful but tragic backstory where he showed his hardwork before being blind and how an old man feels nostalgic about his life, we love how duncan warms up to north no 2 after knowing about his past life , we love how it addresses the point of AI developing and stealing jobs because the old man retired probably because no one wants music when they could create by just pushing a button, lastly and definitely not the least , we love the beautiful piano. I would cite these reasons more colourfully if i rewatch the scene.

Precisely my friend. It’s all subjective. There are people who say they don’t like AOT and who say SAO is a masterpiece.
Can’t argue with everyone. Not everyone is interested in plot driven or character driven stories. Nor everyone is interested in brainless action and edge lord cringe fests.

If we argue with all we will be fucked.

Ps. I’ll defend to death AOT is one of greatest thing that happened to mankind. SAO is a train wreck. Below average shounen. 14 year old new gen anime fans are ruining the landscape. JJK S2 was killed due to overhype. Vinland Saga S2 or Heavenly Delusions should have won AOTY not JJK.
Fight me.

🤣🤣

You should watch some battle shounens. They are good. Especially plot and character heavy ones like Naruto or MHA and other good shows.

Not the new stuff like JJK or CSM. They are good. But not at the make your brain tick and question everyone and everything in the show. (yet).

Watch old anime. Classic stuff. Far better than today’s cattle like shows.

I too dont know answers to most of these questions so when I asked them on ChatGPT, this is what I got. (Note, This is not my answer, but from ChatGPT.

Literally all the answers are wrong. All of these plot ponts were left unexplained in the anime.

You have much to learn if you have not joined the witch hunt to down vote every anime that rises above our underrated favorites. I am currently on a campaign to get Training with Hinako into the top 12. Shit taste is hard to fight though, it's like trying to talk sense to an army of hallucinating loonies.
