I haven’t read the manga, but I suspect that as her self confidence gets higher over time surrounded by people she can relax with, it will happen naturally.

Both. I like her talking with a translator particularly since sometimes it makes for funnier moments and it's kinda cute but it's also nice if we can hear her say something in her own voice now and then.

There was an excellent chapter about her finally opening up and communicating with her mom through the translator app. Just let her be herself!!! Also makes the moments when she does speak have more impact.

Maria Naganawa is IMO the most underated seiyuu in the industry and she is absolutely the best for voicing cute moe characters, so hearing her more would be a win by default.

it’s just gunna be a komi situation. She’s hella shy but eventually she starts to speak more little by little until she’s confident enough to speak normally

I would like to hear her own voice more. Being shy is her personality and I like that about her so she could take all her time to open up as the series progresses.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

@Piromysl landing a role in a precure series it's anything except underrated. Some would kill their mom to land a role there.

@Hakkaon chapters 156 and still use it I am not up to date last one I read was 159 but I am pretty sure it's still continue up to 166 since it's her gimmick.

After carrying Dragon Maid all by herself, I expected her to be more popular. Something on at least Aoi Koga level.

a bit of spoiler of a spoiler (nothing major)
there's one chapter where all the gf & rentaro going to kareoke. it ends with everyone getting blown away (literally) by shizuka's singing

@Gator in komi-san case it's one of the most wasted seiyuu on a role it's Aoi Koga for Christ sake. Kaguya reduced to gibberish and noise without any shred of what she could actually do.
