It's such shame that MMA didn't do well in Japan. It was so good. I really thought this would be the sports manga that would stick around in Jump. Really really gonna miss Nito and Nao and the series as a whole. Hope Kawada comes back strong next time. It was stated in the chapter that there will an extra chapter along with the final volume. Hope the full fight will be there. Although I doubt it. It will prolly be a timeskip chapter. It's still sad to see the series end like this.

Wow…I don’t know what to say. I didn’t even recognize that the manga would have a chance of ending from the last chapter until I read last week’s chapter discussion just now. I was shocked to start reading today’s chapter and I had thought that maybe I was missing some chapters of information. To see that Kaz was anxious for a fight only made me think of one person it could be. So I immediately swiped to the end of the chapter to see “The End!” I don’t think I’ve ever been so shocked to read those words until now. I was really looking forward to more chapters but…wow…

To start things off, fuck wsj. The only shit that survives are the same copy pasta battle shounen or series that cater to japanese audience.

Really enjoyed this series, the characters and fights specially. Was hoping to see so many things from this but unfortunately it didn't happen. Atleast Kawada found out a decent way to end it with the sibling fight. Hope the bonus chapter will be good. Maybe timeskip with Nao x Asumi or something.

It'll take a while to get over the fact that this got axed.

Well, that sucks. Honestly, another potential gem that got wasted by being on the wrong magazine. Don't think the author got the right balance for a WSJ series. Maybe axing or even delaying the Nao's arc would've helped, since Nito's the more explosive of the two. A shame.

Damn, this axe hurt more than any other in recent memory. This series was so damn good. Here's hoping Kawada comes back again with a banger

Man this fucking sucks. But honestly with the way WSJ is, it was probably doomed from the beginning given how combat sports manga recently just don't seem to last unless they go really crazy like Kengan Ashura or even what Strike It Rich is doing. Though of I can gove some criticism (though I doubt it would've saved MMA) Nao should've been the main protag and Nito the secondary. Idk while reading it, I found myself more interested in her story and motivations. That isn't to say Nito's was bad, but I just wasn't as interested in it as seeing Nao get revenge.

It's sad seeing this go because I really enjoyed it but in the same time I'm not surprised. It was low on ToC and both volumes has poor sales... why was that? I think I explained it in one of previous chapter discussions but for short female character/s weren't classic waifu materials.

Overall I enjoyed this series, I really liked characters and their motivations (no one was pure evil) and enjoyed most of their fights, only I wish this chapter had more vibe of epilogue but maybe extra chapter will show epilogue? more interactions between Nito and Nao...

I hope Kawada for the best and fast return with successful series (even if in different magazine)
And now fate of taking of WSJ's sport curse lays on Green Green Greens' shoulders.

Man I loved this manga. Really was looking forward to seeing how the MC grew in fighting and would lead to his fight with his brother. Sad we don’t even get to see the fight or a proper conclusion.

Fuck, fuck, fuck. This is the first WSJ axe to really upset me in a long time, maybe the most one ever has.

Honestly such a bummer. WSJ once again axes something with potential that many of us were interested in. Another case where this probably would've survived had it been in any other magazine, fuck this crap.

I was thoroughly enjoying this series until I reached chapter 32 and realized that for some braindead reason, the series got cancelled? I truly don’t understand why either tbh… I was really enjoying everything about this series, so to see it end so abruptly and in such a rushed manner was really disappointing. This manga had a lot of potential imo to be one of the better martial arts stories out there, so it’s truly a big loss to see it go out like this

Another life goes into the night
The fate of not selling well
I believe long monologues and dialogues were the reason for people not linking this great story.

Absolute L letting this one go. This was a great series and I enjoyed the entire run. It at least went out on a high note but this really deserved better.

The writing was on the wall for a while, but I'm sad to see this one go.
it had a lot of potential, but you could tell it wasn't resonating with the Japanese readership...

Not the first to go and it won't be the last.

Poor Kawada:

It wasn't a good sign that in Chapter 23 content for several chapters was rushed or skipped. I'll never understand why this series flopped. Even Hinomaru Zumo survived for 5 years, and at that time the Jump was full of big series including two other successful sports series (Haikyu and Kuroko no Basket).

Good luck for the next series!

If you mean the final volume epilogue then it was translated on mangaplus iirc.
