| Himari seems like the most curious girl in the show, always finding out more about her peers including Aoi's childhood friend. Storytelling and lore aside, this was a more calm episode. It seems the show really wants Himari to understand all the main cast or even ones connected to them. |

| There is a new kid on the block: the cursed Hayato Hidaka, whom as Nachi reports about him being in a tsukimono clan that contracts with beings of all kinds, but faces human discrimination. Thankfully, there was Himari's Momochi family who shilededshielded them and many other families, which gives her incentive to understand him better. But above all, Hayato remains his distance against her, which is enforced by a kid wearing a fox mask, and confimed by Aoi that he is also his childhood friend. Despite the danger, Himari intentionally sticks close to Hidaka, reminding him of the time he had with Aoi in the past, with the four-leaf clover being their friendship charm. But Hidaka has to make a deal with an ayakashi, which he laments that he traded Aoi away for his own self-fulfillment. For certain that the fox spirit cursing Hayato, cursed his entire family not to see it, it's a pressing issue to sever the contract between ayakashi and family. And one way to do that is to give it the treatment that it deserves, and then release it, But lo and behold, its brother has to come out and attack them, which the fox spirit defended them for their escape. Eventually, the escape into the Momochi House, Hayato has to convince the fox spirit on why he hasn't come to bless the spirit, and as much as he's returned, it's technically not possible to ever remember him at all, anymore. At least, that's the story from a childhood friend who now lives differently. |

| Damn Hidaka kun was a pretty cool addition to the story. Learning about the connection between his family and Himari’s was neat and his backstory was pretty sad as is shoujo tradition. It sucks that Aoi and Hidaka have been separated so long and that Hidaka has let his entire life with this guilt about Aoi’s “death” I hope one day Aoi will come clean about him being alive. Kinda hurt seeing Hidaka ask to go where his best friend is, not knowing he was right in front of him 😢 |

| A neat episode that was mostly calm but had some sad moments. Someone still remembered Aoi; even if he couldn't remember his name or face, his friendship remained. It's sad to see that Aoi removed himself from Hidaka's memory, but maybe it was supposed to be that way. |

| I wish that they would have let Hidaka meet Aoi and be friends once again. |
