| Jesus Christ, it's just one disaster after another. Almost feels like they're cursed or something. At least we know more about what's actually going on in the capital and the importance of the story lore. Also, another tribe appears too which adds more intrigue to the show. Felt like a lot for Touko to take it all in but it is what it is. |

| Touko is dealing with a lot right now. Having learned about the purpose of the spider capital's invasion and their desires, Koushi, who sensed the dire situation of Touko, is guided by a presence from beyond and starts running. Unable to do anything but watch as Kira is taken away by the divine beings right in front of her, Touko is swiftly joined by Kanata just after, and an earthquake strikes them. Rising from the swirling dust, the tree people, Kiri and Yanagi, appear, informing Touko that they have come to the surface to create graves for the deceased tree people. In the midst of this, a new divine being, Ruri Matsuri, makes her presence known. |

| I swear to god, Hikari no Ou is a thousand times more captivating, epic and beautiful than any flashy modern battle shounen with 8+ rating this show has something special in it, I just can't take my eyes off the screen |
| It seems like the plot can go in 12 different directions at this point. Wonder what will happen and how things will develop. |

| Koushi rushing to Touko with Kun, as Roroku follows with his companion Mizore. As for Kira, assuming her the position of the Lady Goddess as she leads Touko to see the dogs, Kun's bugs are literally any hope of saving her, as she finds an abandoned collection truck with dead corpses and dripping blood in one of the capital's warehouse. Despite the horror, Kanata manages to find Touko. The black shadow that comes raging towards Touko and Kanata, is the surfaced Great Tree who tells of the treefolk who survived (Kiri and En) and died (Shuyu) in the midst. Because of Kunugo who wants to make grave for the treefolk, the spiders must be rid of first. But on top, stands Tayura-hime, who laments on Hibari focusing on the Millennial Comet and such, he's the true mastermind to foil everyone into his plan, which should be dealt with the foremost. A surprise that both Koushi and Kun find a silhouette of one of the deceased Okibis warning them not to progress any further, danger meets them anywhere they go. |

| After so much suffering and an exhausting journey full of obstacles for poor Touko, we finally discover who is behind the voice communicating with her. It suggests that she is the human incarnation of a goddess, but why? Just when we thought we could piece together parts of this story, this episode only serves to further complicate things, and I have a feeling that significant deaths are on the horizon. Regarding Kira, something tells me they won't be able to save her from that fate, or perhaps they will, but at a cost. |

| Ok just as I thought I was understanding the story for the most part I am a bit confused again. With Kun telling Koushi that the spider folk received immunity from natural fire from bugs (something that was previously stated) it makes me wonder if the spider people are either trying to help humans or kill them off and have them reborn to be resistant to natural fire. Also, with Kira being made into a vessel I believe Hibari said that once the goddess accepts the vessel the gods will gain more power so I wonder what their end goal is. Anyway, looking forward to watching how all of this plays out. |

| More false gods and all the staff got changed by the false gods? This just keeps getting worse. |
