| My notes: - First 20 minutes the pacing was weird, the movie felt like it was trying to force and emotional moment when the audience (me) hadn't yet had the time to develop any sincere interest in Yuuta whatsoever - More Maki screentime is such a treat - Inumaki is precious - Yuuta's uniform makes him look like a chef - Animation goes WILD especially during Yuuta's love spell attack on his fight with Geto - what did gojo say to geto in that one scene I NEED to knowwwwwww Was expecting something a little different, and quite honestly didn't end up liking it all THAT much. Regardless, I did enjoy getting to see more development for some of the characters AND I'm now a little curious about the spinoff manga. |

| god DANG that landed a nice heavy sappy hit. really didn't have much emotional investment in this series even after the whole first season but yes okay i now care about these characters and am now very much looking forward to getting into S2 also Todo was as based as ever even with just 20 seconds or so of screen time and Maki was looking even more beautiful than ever =) |
| I liked how in the movie we learned more about geto and his motives. Actually in s1 we basically know nothing. I liked seeing all the other sorcerers as well varying in power levels. Really shows how big they are while we usually see small amounts of them. And all extra screen time and cameos of some of characters are always welcome! Now I guess did Geto die die and is a curse now? Does the ending indicated yuuta was just traveling and could come back now? The power differences shown indicate that the awakening of sukuna really littered special grades all over. Well off to season 2! |
| Yuta was so Shinji-coded lmao. I guess this was done on purpose, right?? (Same seiyuu too!) There was a bunch of scenes which also were very Evangelion-like, so that left me wondering about it, hahaha. |

| Pretty good movie, the only thing I have an issue with is the Gojo killing Geto thing. It sounded like he finished him off, but he's still there one year later in season 1? I hope we get an answer to that in season 2. |
