How different are the two? What might be your reason for thinking it's very similar? Will reading the manga give you the same experience you got from watching the anime?

I started reading the manga after watching and I love it. The characters are fun and each of them unique. Some of the jokes are repetitive but overall I’ve been enjoying it. Especially the extras!

Manga was funnier for me , it had so many 4th wall breaks like 4th wall doesn't even exist at this point 😂 It's somewhat alike for me. Some of the parts from manga couldn't be adapted ,they are manga only.

I started reading the manga after the first season was completed. The manga did give me a lot of fun moments. I freakin' enjoyed it if I'm being honest. The anime will adapt to the manga eventually but until then, it's the manga for me.

they have removed some "erotic" scenes from the manga and added a few different ones but other than that its pretty much the same

Just a fun fact: the author was very involved with the anime productions so that it can be loyal to the source material as possible and still keep it fresh. The only difference anime and manga have is the experience of watching and reading, at least for me.

It's basically the same. They adapted some gags that don't work in anime but I cannot remember anything missing.

They’re similar, but the anime wins for the Kiss Zombie storyline and Hakari’s better delivered line at the end, which made me snort much more 🙂

Very similar. It was a great adaptation imo.
There were quite many anime-original jokes, all of which I absolutely loved, like God breaking the 4th wall in the first episode, before and after at the start of one of the episodes, Hahari mentioning the special ED etc.

i havent read past vol 1 but they changed the "check chapter #" joke with "check episode #" for the tv. Makes sense though. Also as "Kami" said, he had a ton of lines cut from the manga so he just said "WHY ARE MORE OF MY LINES BEING CUT OUT?!?!" lol

I readed the manga before the anime.
And the anime is a faithful adaptation of the manga
