 The official website of the Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita. (The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies) television anime revealed the lead cast and a teaser visual on Thursday (pictured). The anime series adapting Cocoa Fujiwara's fantasy romance manga will begin airing in July 2024.Voice actors Yuuki Ono (Beastars, Blue Lock) and Mai Nakahara (Azur Lane, Mekakucity Actors) are starring as Mira and Byakuya Mimori, respectively. Akiyo Oohashi (Umibe no Étranger) is directing the anime at Bones, with Yuniko Ayana (Flip Flappers) handling the series composition and script. Haruko Iizuka (Horimiya) is designing the characters, and MAYUKO (Ousama Ranking) is composing the music. Fujiwara (Inu x Boku SS) began drawing the fantasy romance manga—also known as MahoAku—in Gangan Joker magazine in September 2013.
