Rumbling vs. Modern Warfare

No, I'm not talking about the game, but if the Rumbling were to face off against a modern military, then how much damage will the titans cause before they're all taken down? I could see an A-10 mow down a row of them. Also, no atomic weapons involved.

Rumbling might be something our military could take care of eventually after a huge huge struggle with a devastating change of the battlefield. But, the founding titan is the entity which might change the face of the war. Atleast, without nukes.

I think modern APFSDS ammunition could be very effective against titans.

They can be penetrated by swords so yeah that could probably do the trick. They also don't seem to have good air defence so even a slow ass AC 130 could do some damage. Su-25? Sure throw that there as well.

An air strike would do the job. They just have to target the skeleton and BOOM!

There probably won’t be enough ammunition to take care of every titan in the rumbling.

It's a weird argument. It's like a meat vs metal fight, where the meat is near infinite but the metal is near invincible; my answer would easily be modern warfare.

When clicking on this thread I immediately pictured a fan edit video of characters from call of duty modern warfare fighting against the rumbling.

if you want to have a discussion about modern military vs the rumbling you can’t really exclude the use of nukes. I mean if nukes were involved then it would be easy but without it modern military would still win, it’s just take much longer to do

I definitely doubt even nukes would singlehandedly kill a titan that huge.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

there is a video on youtube stating the similar size of colossal titan and a container ship side ways... the anime just makes them look big and here we are talking about wall titans which are smaller than colossal titan, and you say we need 1 nuke for each titan like the weakest nuke droped on hiroshima didn't wipe out the city

The military would probably be able to take down a good amount of them, but if the military didn’t end up taking down the founder Titan then they would get over powered, also if they weren’t expecting it then they definitely couldn’t take down the rumbling because of how massive they are and since they’re only weak spot is on the back of the neck. Even if they used an air strike it wouldn’t do much damage since the Titans would go all around the world
