| I really like how the text is designed in the OP The ED is cool, but I really miss the first one with everyone dancing in a car. Cool episode. We are learning more about Finn's backstory, and Chris has an injury he can't heal with his ability, interesting. And discussion for this anime is really dead lol Btw this is a multimedia project, so there is also a manga, a novel and drama CDs set in the same universe. |

| wow, we learn more of finns backstory and now we finally seeing this Black Knight. Very freaky way to eat a card. We also see theres a time limit to get these cards and supposedly separate them from the players. Kinda wished we got to see more action with the flying but it is what it is. |

| New season of High Card and I'm already trying to remember the names of the characters although the show makes that job quite easy. The opening sequence is good but nos as much as the first one imo and the ending sequence is just OK. It seems like the story will now focus on the Black Knight and whoever was next to Klondike in the car. Also, is Chris's ability taking a toll on him now? We'll see |

| S1 OP and ED were better, but these are good as well. I'm glad the score is still as fire as before. Didn't like the CGI for the black night though... |

| New Season, and its even better then expected! I mean look at the opening, it definitely brings back the hype. Cool first episode, we learn more about Finn's backstory, but the animation of the dark knight, i mean- what was that? Let's see what the new arc will be about- |

| Since no bodies were found my guess is the Black Knight is Finn's brother (or maybe father) who somehow went berserk during the fire while saving Finn. The actual killer is probably the guy who attacked the cops near the start of the episode |
| The most aggressive game of 52 pick up is back with High Card Season 2. High Card has successfully recovered the Jack of Hearts. Chris was tasked with tracking down the six of hearts and asked Finn for help. Unfortunately, Chris and Finn has come face to face with the Black Knight from Finn's past causing him nightmares. Klondike is planning his next move that will change the country forever. |

| Decent premiere, I'm hoping to see an improvement from what Season 1 brought to the table, and it seems the plot could very well get interesting from here, with Chris having an injury that isn't healing, perhaps because of what happened in Season 1 with the X-card? OP and ED were pretty good as well. |
| This underrated series is back and it picks up where it left off with a couple of action scenes. Speaking of which, I also would've liked to have seen more of the intro flying chase scene but we still got some action from that animal guy and also a mysterious knight guy that impaled the animal guy. I wonder who that knight guy is and why Chris, whom is supposed to be immortal, isn't healing. |
| High Card continues to show glimpses of greatness like that opening scene, only to wallow in mediocrity the rest of the time. |
| My Anime of the Season from last Winter is back at just screams to defend it's title! It's thrilling, it's intriguing and the characters are as great as ever! I'm suprised Lindsey actually told Finn what is (probably) the truth. Perhaps I was wrong suspecting another Tiger & Bunny plot here. Anyway, let's hope High Card can keep this standart for all of it's second season and won't be another Birdie Wing or G-Witch that messes up halfway down the line! |

| Season 1: Are you ready? It’s Showdown!! Season 2: Are you ready? It’s “TRUTH” Showdown!! The truth will come out in the 2nd half of High Card, the new next-gen Kakegurui! Five New Old's 2nd OP is good and Raon's Ed is decent, but they can't hold a candle to Season 1's masterpiece OST. Pinochle a.k.a High Card is back, though Chris being demoted no thanks to his stint in Season 1, means that Finn is in a higher position than him. That said, the Kingdom of Fourland experiencing a loss of their next leader of Prince Dylan, but the field agents have no time but to pick up the pace on retrieving as any X-Playing Cards as possible while keeping the Klondike Family out. As much as Sugar Peace and the police under Greg Young have been unsuccessful in catching Ban Klondike, the restoration efforts into Sun Fields Orphanage are instead, going well. Finn learning from Lindsey the truth about his family that was presumably assassinated, leaving him alone with his 2 of Spades with no criminal in sight. But the cryptid "THE ZOO" appearing nearby with Chris in pursuit of it holding the 6 of Hearts, anything would be right...except that he was killed by the Black Knight, the entity that decimated his entire family. The truth shall emerge, but it won't be pretty. |

| Chris is back in action, now demoted, he works under Finn. With the death of the prince, due to the Klondike Family incident, the entire country is in mourning. The cops raid Ban Klondike's house but, it was a trap! The building exploded leaving the detective and police officer injured. Lindsy, the orphanage manager, found an investor who helped rebuild after the fire. Finn finds out what happened to his parents. Chris and Finn go out on a mission to retrieve a card, the owner of this card dies in the hands of a black knight, the same one who murdered Finn's parents. He absorbed the card and goes after the them but is stopped by two strangers. Ban Klondike is planning to stir some trouble. |
