just wondering if the bonus clips in 12.5 were taken from the manga. like, were those scenes from the manga they drastically shortened and we wont be able to see in the future? or just anime only add ons?

The manga starts as an episodic gag manga with not much more story through line than Ichikawa thinks he's a killer, but is into Yamada, who is kind of a slob. All of this is then played for jokes. The manga does eventually become more serialized, as these things tend to, but the anime did a good job of putting events into an order that would make it get to serialization a little sooner. As a result these bonus goofs got left on the cutting room floor.

What the guy above me said, plus the author also features extra in-betweens in their twitter/x account which also follow the gag short humor style. From my understanding, some of these were also included in the extra episode.

Where is episode 12.5?
I haven't seen any episode 12.5 in the first season, is it an ova or special? In which platform or country it got released?

I honestly had no idea that was the initial format of this manga. It honestly makes it all the more impressive to me how much of a cohesive and well-thought out story this has been so far. Honestly up there with my favorite romance/rom com anime that I’ve watched

On HiDive in USA I see it at the end of the first season.

My HiDive also still doesn't have the first episode of season 2. HiDive is so trash.

@DrFlamingLeaf it’s an app specific issue then, 13.5 doesn’t even exist on main website. Needs to be reported.

So in the manga, do they add more to the scenes? Or is it just like how it was in the anime. Also, manga worth getting?
