What to watch next?

I finished Sunshine and the movie, but I don't know what to watch next in the Love Live franchise. Could someone tell me what's next?

There is no series that is explicitly "next", you can really watch whichever series you want. That being said, Love Live! Nijigasaki would be the next anime that came out so that is a logical next choice, then followed by Love Live! Superstar. It is also worth mentioning that the Sunshine fantasy spinoff anime, Sunshine in the mirror, exists. Considering you just finished Love Live! Sunshine that might also be a good next choice if it interests you at all.

Watch Genjitsu no Yohane if you want more Aqours and really good songs.
I only watched season 1 of nijigasaki and superstar and didn't really enjoy them at all.

After Sunshine you can basically stop at there or watch the spin offs which are Nijigaski, Superstars, and Genjitsu in any order. But with the first two Love Lives you should watch School Idol Project and then Sunshine since their stories are in the same world unlike the three spin offs I mentioned.

As others mentioned, any Love Live anime released after Sunshine doesn’t have a chronological connection to the the previous franchises.

That said, Superstar is much like Sunshine and School idol project in that it centers around forming a group that participates in the Love Love competition.

Niji is focused on individual idols/subgroups but still has a sense of a single cohesive idol club. It’s a fresh take I really enjoy but some might not.

The Yohane spin-off is boring and takes away much of what I loved about the original characters. It’s a whole lot of fluff without any substance. By all means try it, but I can’t personally recommend it.

@eggrollSource Oh okay, it's a bit sad that the other Love Lives aren't related to the main story because

I started watching Nijigasaki and it already became my favorite Love Live, it's like a twist to the main anime. It's way too good.

Actually, the main reason I wanted to watch Love Live was because I wanted to watch Nijigasaki
