He has told her he wants to break up with her, but Ruka doesn't "let him", so he stays in this toxic relationship forever. I don't think they ever actually break up, even in the manga that has released until now, which completely sucks.

To be honest, I don't remember if it was shown in the anime or manga, but I do remember it was a scene of Kazuya telling Chizuru about how he had tried to break up with Ruka several times but she didn't let him.

Yea that sounds very familiar plus I remember on the bus during season 3 he tell chizaru that he would one day bring a girl he actually does love home as a response to how him and ruka were doing also followed by she’s nice and all but…

it's a reflection of how some girls actually work in this world, and how she is putting her happiness first, no matter morality, it has passed to me, so he being so shy and social anxious, cannot tell her straight forward to f off

Sorry, bro. She is unlikable and belongs to the streets. And it she is supposed to be "realistic" that she doesn't even love Kazuya, but just wants to have for himself, then it is actually depressing, not entertaining.
