Volume 1: about the neighbor

So I finished volume 1 tonight and I just want to know, does the neighbor girl make anyone else severely uncomfortable? Like the way she views Sasaki and the way she thinks is not how a middle schooler should and it both leaves me concerned for her and severely uncomfortable
