 That’s right... I’m giving it away, I’ll even pay to mail it to the winner! It’s a fairly simple contest, basically I’ve picked a number between 1 – 50, first one to post the correct number wins!!! To keep it fair, I’ve provided the club officer OsmarH with the number ahead of time, he can attest to the accuracy of the number... There are only two rules, you cannot repost with another number until 5 other people have posted after you... and the series must be on your completed list and have scored an 8 or greater, so as to make sure my set goes to a real fan of the series. Here’s some scanned images of the prize... Suzuka: The Complete Series Box Set (2009 Viridian Collection) Front of Set Back of Set Inside – 4 DVD’s Set Details This set is used, but in otherwise new condition. If no one has guessed the correct number by Friday, Jan 15, 2010 @ 11:59 pm est, then I will close the contest and award the set to the closest guess that is lower than the actual correct number. Winning contestant must be able to provide me with an accurate mailing address, so that the prize can be sent via USPS to them. *Why am I doing this??? I recently upgraded my Suzuka set to the 2007 individual DVD’s with the Art-Box, just cause I think it looks nicer on my shelf ;-) .. so this 2009 Viridian set is just sitting around collecting dust and I’d rather give it to a fan who will get some use out of it. | One week to go.... it's looking like you may be taking the set home, OVA :-) I can't believe there aren't more people interestegd in a free Suzuka DVD set.. can the club admins send out a mass-message? I'll also be giving away complete sets of Air, Kanon, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts), and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya in the next few weeks, I hope their fans show more interest becasue I really want these sets to go to good homes :-) |

| hey kazuki_takara, while it's a little suspicious that you added Suzuka to your completed list at just about the precise moment you posted your entry... I'll let it stand given the lack of activity here although I should mention: the DVD's in this set are encoded for Region 1... so be sure you have a way of playing those where you currently reside before entering the contest. Also, I'll be dropping the '5 entry's between posts rule' to allow people to repost with new numbers as long as some one else posts after you... so just no consecutive posting :-) |
