the animation is not much different from season 1 which is great
this is a really good episode
the opening and ending arent as good as in season 1 but they arent bad either
i wish they were more similar to the season 1 openings and endings
the only problem that i have with season 2 is that it seems to be slightly more sexual than season 1 which is a big problem, it shouldnt be sexual like this at all, but its only a tiny bit so i think i can ignore it

this last thing isnt a problem with the show but rather the crunchyroll subtitles
these subtitles are HORRIBLE and INACCURATE
the first thing i noticed is that it spelled Milika with an r instead of an l which im pretty sure is different from the season 1 subtitles and simply makes less sense because milika is milk combined with rika, the r in rika isnt actually even an r so there is no source of an r to be spelling it mirika
but thats the least of my worries
the real problem is that the subtitles said "cringe" and "simp" which is just completely inaccurate and really made me sad
it was bad enough that it said "cringe" which ive seen in subtitles for other shows on crunchyroll for years, but the subtitle using the term "simp" is a new low for subtitles on crunchyroll as far as ive seen
this needs to be fixed

if i ever become very rich i hope that i can use my money to be a positive influence on companies like crunchyroll
i was about to say that a japanese company needs to buy crunchyroll but then i remembered that sony is a japanese company

crunchyroll has been on a decline for years, and it started before sony bought crunchyroll, but its only gotten worse since then, and it got even worse when crunchyroll merged with funimation

the most likely cause for crunchyroll's decline is it's success

it breaks my heart when anime on crunchyroll have bad subtitles, it makes it so much harder to enjoy a good anime
if i look at anime that have been on crunchyroll for many years they all have perfect subtitles, i havent seen any issues with subtitles from shows before 2019, the earliest example is the subtitles for dr stone season 1 using the terms "cringe" and "meme"

one problem that subtitles often have that the subtitles for this show doesnt have is that a lot of them remove the honorifics which is DISGUSTING

i really need to learn to understand japanese
i do know a lot more japanese words than i realize i know and i am studying japanese every day but it might still be a long time before i can watch anime without subtitles and understand whats going on
in the past ive watched some episodes of yuruyuri without subtitles and i knew most of what was being said but thats only because of how many times ive seen yuruyuri
i need to do this more soon with an anime i havent already seen
I MIGHT EVEN DO IT WITH ONE OF THE NEXT EPISODES OF GIRLFRIEND GIRLFRIEND

this post got very distracted from talking about girlfriend girlfriend but overall this was a great episode and season 2 seems to be at least 90% as good as season 1 and the only issue is the crunchyroll subtitles which i cannot judge the show for

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)

Season 2 starting off with the best girl of last season which is Shino and I just love Takahashi Rie’s voice on her she sounds so cute I love it🥰💜🥰💜

Nagisa crying was so funny and cute to hear she really cannot study for shit at all and her reaction when Shino said she doesn’t love her was jokes🤣

The opening is a banger I liked the flow of the beginning of the song and the visuals were nice with all the girls and the ending is so catchy and the visuals are great, the outfits on the girls all suit them ESPECIALLY Saki Saki in that red dress😩😮‍💨🔥

Bro RIKA IS SO UNHINGED MAN IT MAKES ME CURL UP BUT LAUGH AT THE SAME TIME bc how are they just fine with a crazy girl who’s living beside them (legally😭)? I know she doesn’t mean ill will but it’s so funny when they just stare at her when she’s going lunatic mode💀💀💀

Risa is actually cute and adorable asf man, I laughed when she called her own sister a simp ahahah, she’s a way better sibling than Rika who’s batshit crazy (and I love rika and her shenanigans)but I’m glad Naoya has her little sister in speed dial for cases like this🤣🤣🤣🤣

The girl that is supposed to not help & is even threatened to help gives in so easily its pathetic. If I were her I would have called the police on them for blackmail and sexual assault as the photo is "proof"

Here we go again, two-timing the anime strikes again. I still think the story is pretty dumb, but after watching 100 girlfriends I guess there is a market for this.
