| Mod edit: Please do not report this thread! The episode is already released on ABEMA Premium. ABEMA Premium paid subscription weekly early release. Back when Leonis was still growing up as a 12-year-old, he was forced into a corner from being ambushed, betrayed and assassinated by the nobles, him saving the world as a wronged hero is no longer in sight anymore. A conversation with a spirit who despises the world, she has her eyes set on him, and that's Roselia's goal which Leonis is supposed to repay once he came back to life 1000 years later. A strategy meeting on a day off from the missing marine research team of Platoon 13, looks like the Void has overpowered them. But to be outdone within seconds, it must be something bigger than the usual Void, though they do not want a repeat of the previous Assault Garden's downfall, especially if it's a Void Stampede horde. Riselia's training as a Vampire Queen is underway from Leonis, and she's improving overtime. Blackie, who was standing guard outside of the mansion, got sidelined by Sakuya and giving her own balderdash of a nickname, while Sharpy stood by and saw Riselia purchase a box of food and then offering it to orphans. Yet another platoon researching the ocean floor being all but wiped out, as an earthquake inches closer of the Void that's lurking beneath 7th Assault Garden...calamity's going to strike sooner, if not later. |

| That was a tragic backstory. Roselia's pretty, hope she's gonna be back. There was a girl in the orphanage that kinda looks like her or maybe it's just cause of the character design. Samurai girl is real cute but her naming sense lol. Good to see a bit more of the maid too. Trouble brewing behind the scenes, I hope they can protect their place. |

| Well that was a snooze fest. The entire conversation in the beginning was braindead, which is of course followed by the brutal murder of Leonis many years ago. That scene was unnecessarily mean, but then when the goddess chick appears as he lays there dead in a pool of blood, and asks him if he's angry or hates the people for betraying him, he says no.... what a bunch of messianic bullshit. To hate a bunch of goons who just killed you in cold blood is a natural reaction. But no, of course he don't hate them. WTF is he, Jesus? So then the waking Risellia out of bed scene, which immediately lurches into a long and painfully boring scene that looks like it was pulled from some 1980s mecha anime like Space Battleship Yamamoto or whatever. AND THEN there was this scene- let me paint the picture for you: warrior walks in full in uniform, with weapon, and announces proudly: "I just met the most majestic dog! His name is Mr Fluffy-wuffy Black Fur! And We're totally friends now" WHAT THA FUCK Everything else that happens is just as much nonsense. A bizarro kitchen scene with one of the other minion girls; then suddenly they're out on a modern looking street that looks like Tokyo if it was rendered in a cheap digital graphics program; and Risellia rides up with Leo with a blue 1980s motorcycle and sidecar that AKIRA would totally approve of. Then Leo is talking to a fat kid. And THAT's THE EPISODE This anime is a mess. I'll give it one more episode, if it's as horrible as this one- I'm dropping this. I feel like part of my brain died |

| So we got a flashback from when Leonis was a human hero and it showed how he became the undead king. This is something that wasn't present on volume 1, so good on the anime for showing more of his back-story. |

| So Leo had previously died and then got resurrected by a girl that seeks revenge (although it looked like a dream.) Besides that Riselia took some of Leo's blood while he was sleeping and then she later trained with him. At first I thought they were going to eat at a restaurant but instead Riselia took Leo to an orphanage where she ended up cooking for them all. We briefly got to see Leo's other minions and in particular the girl minion is continuing to show jealousy over Riselia lol. |

@DoisacChopper if you want ecchi just read the manga for this tbh. It has panty shots, torn off clothing and the bath scenes are a lot more revealing too. This was simply supposed to be a dumb battle school ecchi harem similar to Absolute Duo and Blade Dance (same author as this), it's obvious it wasn't going to be anything special in terms of writing and story. It's a show that would have really benefited from fanservice. Which is exactly why I was excited at first when I found out Passione was working on this, but wow, they just completed dropped the ball on this one.

| I finally got to see this episode! It was decent with all of those SoL. I'm really fond of how they do in their daily lives, instead of just skipping them, just to animate a battle scene. The only disappointment I have in this episode is the lack of animation. It's not downgrading but it's getting easier to see lesser frames for some reason. Anyway, I'm glad to see most of the characters but the doggie didn't get to have his monologue (if he ever has one) while Sakuya is giving him and tying something on his back. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| pretty slow episode, and that kid needed a good scolding for pulling such a prank. just because he's a kid doesn't mean he gets a free pass pulling stunts like that. |

doesn't even have the ecchi tag. probably would benefit from leaning into that tho
| @tarfeef101 It's possible it may of had the tag but was removed. (Wasn't paying enough attention this time.) There is another anime from last season that had a gourmet tag for a few episodes only for the anime to have almost nothing to do with baking, it's gourmet tag was removed. I believe the tags are copy pasted from what the LN/Manga the anime is made from, has. |

True. Japan almost never makes any Fantasy, Harem or Romcom Anime set in another world(not in Japan) with a Brown or Dark-Skin Male Protagonist that has some Arabic or Indian vibes. Sure, there were a few Fantasy Anime with Black protagonists like Yasuke and Afro Samurai, but I'm looking for one where the protagonist is dark-skinned but the main heroine is a Blonde White Girl ( can be either a noble or commoner don't mind).
It's almost like the Japanese don't want to pair Dark-Skin Guys with Light-Skin Heroines, and that is very racist and doesn't reflect the reality of the world.

| When Leonis said he was once a hero before becoming a demon lord, I suspected he was betrayed by the ones he's protecting. I was right. I fully understand him rebelling against the world. They all should pay for killing the person who's helping humanity. But what I understand he knows it's a trap and let them kill him. Curious on why he's a 'threat' |

| So teenage(?) Leonis was revived/taken in by Roselia as an undead(?) minion after he faced betrayal, paralleling what he would do to Riselia a millennium later. Hot damn, Elfiné's morning clothes... There are civilians, or at least places where people can live like civilians and Shary has found work in the town instead of going into the school (which the OP/ED seems to foreshadow),. But Blackas has been sitting outside the dorm, to be discovered by Sakuya. |

| WTF was this episode? I have not seen a more pointless episode in an anime for a while now. I think it was worse because I was watching the English dub, with the worst voice acting they could afford. That little fat kid's voice actor was high-as-fuck, made me laugh, and kids sounded like adults, with no one even trying at all. Actually, forget the voice acting, but WTF was this episode anyway? Some dipshit characters stood around eating sweet potatoes, scene lingered on forever on those three idiots while one of them fell asleep while other discussed shit we've already seen discussed in the most boring conversation between military personnel ever in previous scene. So they basically repeated same thing over and over again in an entire episode till the end (don't get me started on the shitty monster that our her is about to fight). Seriously, WHAT the fuck is even this anime so far? I actually thought they were going somewhere more entertaining in first episode, after that they're just going down the shitter faster than Shield Hero. The moronic vampire queen plot sounds like some 12 yr old came up with it thinking it was cool (or the writer hasn't written anything since the 90s). Now I just wanna watch the rest of the anime to see how bad it'll get, especially the English voice actors they hired from Fiver. |

| It seems like the void that's been lurking below the island has infiltrated the ventilation system and boarded it. Leo does some training with Riselia and they visit the restaurant where she feeds the orphan kids. I like how Sakuya just gives Blackas a random thoughtless name as she sees him. Series has been pretty eventful for now, I wonder how it'll look after they intercept that tree-like void - will that be the major enemy of the series? |
