Do you have any idea why they didn't show BL relationship in Donghua even it has written in Manhua? is it something like Chinese policy?

lol yeah, it's chinese censorship. otherwise tgcf wouldn't ever come onto the chinese market, but there is plenty of symbolism to know they are a thing. and yes, the manhua has a bit more details as far as I know.

Yes it’s Bl it’s the Donghua for a really popular Danmei consisting of 8 volumes but I don’t know how much will be shown because of chinese censorship we will see when the donghua comes to the actual gay parts of the story

I have read the novels up until now, and they are definitely in a relationship, and there is no censorship, so I would highly recommend it. with the manhun will most likely be censored. while it might show the kissing part and so on it with most likely be covered by light or a little cartoon so you don't actually see their lips touch. It's a little dumb but it's how that country runs, I guess.

It is definitely a Bl story but it is actually pretty good. I recommend the novels, the donghua and the Manhua

It not a policy. But nonetheless the novels sure describe a love story but it doesn’t evolve until the 6th novel (at least verbally) I believe that the story will take a pure Bl route from the 7th novel and on

I would not put my hops up so high for them kissing in the Show. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan in Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation (the story is written by the same author as Heaven Officials blessing) didn't had a kissing scene in the Animated show, but in the Books. So yeah, I think they will keep the Relationship between xie Lian and Hua Cheng in the friendzone. (come to think of it that the Fandom is still waiting for the live action drama to be released since the production is already finished but it is still not passing censorship 🥲)

Chinese censorship ... sadly Chinese censorship. they do not allow any content where two people of the same gender are in love. But some productions are a bit foxy and have some hidden meanings behind the actions in the series.

I've read all of that authors books lol waiting for the last novel of Heavens official blessing 🙌. I still love the art in the anime so I will definitely watch it but the novels are my aheven lol

Yes. They’re gay. The novel they’re from is a danmei = Chinese BL, all of the authors stories are about BL, they are 1000% gay canonically, I don’t know how they’ll be in the donghua and how much it will be censored but. Originally yes they are (I saw so many comments on the special episode about how Hua cheng is a ghost and can change form so it’s ambiguous and. No. 😭😭😭)
