Damn ngl Mayuri has been cooking pretty hard this season, he cracked that the Quincies were actually stealing Bankai's and not sealing, foresaw that the Quincies real goal was the Royal Palace and built the cannon and managed to revive the dead as extra combatants to fight. Now he's personally entering the battlefield which i'm kinda hyped for, but zombie Toshiro actually shook me.
It's really cool and kinda nostalgic to see the old arrancar enemies return. They weren't as iconic as the espada, but in their own way they had their place in the stories with their fights. Also hearing Charlotte's cero charge up again gave me a good laugh, just like it did the first time i heard it lol.
Wait so Giselle is actually a dude huh, that reveal gave me hella whiplash, i did not expect that. So to zombify Quincies he has to fully kill them unlike Soul Reapers? So, he straight up killed Bambia instead of healing her just to zombify her? Ngl i ain't digging the Quincies so far, but even still that shit sounds hella morbid for an enemy to do to their own ally.
Compared to an episode ago, i still think Giselle is funny with the personality but what he did to Bambi was really grim and i'm not really vibing with, i thought the two were like friends or smthing damn.

| @Code0018 Even back when I first read it in the manga I never got why Bambi's "friends" conspired to kill her. I was hoping the anime might shed some light on it. Giselle could have easily healed her but they went out of their way to kill and zombify her. No explanation for it either. Like where they tired of her attitude? Did they always plan to betray her? It really seams like something Kubo did for shock value without really coming up with a reason for it. |

| 3/5 Fine episode. Nothing great or eye-catching but enjoyed it for the most part Ichigo & co. are boutta go to the soul palace again with some convenient trick from Urahara and our shining man. Yourichi makes an appearance after a long time, good to have her back and flaunting. The zombies part of the episode was fairly decent. Bringing back the arrancars felt pointless in the manga and it felt the same here although i did enjoy the quirks and the VA work here & there. We move~~ |

| I'm not sure what to think of Urahara: should I compare him to an architect of all the events in Bleach, which allows him to monitor the story's progress, intervening whenever he needs to? Or should I rather compare him to a game cheat, popping up conveniently whenever a solution is needed to move forward 😂? |

| Wtf Giselle is a boy. Ichigo should've just stayed in the Royal Palace, would've saved him the Hassel of having to go back up. Been a while since Yoruichi was on screen. As always, Mayuri is the confident, merciless killer. Giselle also turned Toshiro into a zombie, who might pose a threat, but knowing Mayuri, would just be another person to test his inventions on. |

| BRUH Ichigo literally just got here and now Yhwach, Hascwalth, and Ishida are already hauling their asses to the Soul Palace. Well, anyway the human gang is all here with Chad and Orihime arriving just in time to see Ishida leave them. Other than them, Yoruichi also made her return, so long has it been since I've seen her that I forgot the tone of her voice. Side note, Giselle's overly cutesy attitude was a red flag, and sure enough. Bro stank of semen, he's a dude for sho. |

| As with the other episodes, it was so preoccupied with moving the plot forward that good pacing was non-existent. That being said, the sloppily linked together story beats were individually entertaining enough that I didn't mind that much. It felt like watching a compilation video |
Great episode 5/5. It's always a good episode when Kurotsuchi's involved. The goat himself. I like this necromancer girl cause I love summoner/necromancer powers. |
