Is the live action considered whitewashing?

Some people complained about the live action being unfaithful for changing the main character's gender and race from Japanese male to White female. Is this considered white washing to you? Or is it simply the Western version? Is the live action good?

I don't know what you are talking about, I watched the 2009 drama where kamenashi Kazuya played the main character..
Kami no Shizuku isn't all about wine and family issues, there's of comedy as well.. Not many people liked the family-related issues in the drama.

Imagine living in such a lonely echo chamber that this is one of the big questions for you, lol. Especially love it that it's not femalewashing when they change the sex of a character but it's whitewashing when they change their race. So race is more important than gender now on the woke-pyramide? According to who? The only washing here I see is brainwashing.
