| In episode 12, I guess most people notice that the ability will be transferred to another person upon the death of the owner. However, there's another crucial hint regarding the ability most people overlooked when watching it. Near the end, for a brief moment, there's a frame that displays a white strand of hair dangling on Qiao Ling's fully black hair. This small detail insinuates the side effect of using an ability that doesn't inherently belong to you. I guess it also tells us how many times Lu Guang has traveled to the past.  |

If he had a different hair color back then, wouldn't Cheng xiaoshi or Qiao ling recognise the change in his hair color the more he travels, if what u said is true then i believe it was a gradual change of hair color rather than an abrupt change??

| I actually got the feeling that Lu Guang travelled to the past more than once, that he keeps doing so again and again. I don't remember which one of his lines exactly gave me that idea but yeah. So this kinda makes sense but holy shit, nevery thought of that. Could be just loose hair being shine through by the light. It's quite normal for anime to be drawn like that. On the other hand I thought his white hair stood out. Yeah sure, we got the pink hair family but I think it was just to make the allegory to the fox family in the picture book. I guess in reality it would be ginger and they just wanted to make it more cool looking. |

| I finished the show a while ago but this theory has been on my mind. If it gets confirmed it would make me appreciate season 2 and the whole reveal that Lu Guang has been looping a lot more, because otherwise to me it felt like a pointless twist to add depth |
