I really have an uneasy feeling, I'm satisfied and not satisfied at the same time. I'm really glad that sakuragi isn't bedridden and the not satisfied part I want more TwT

Picking up the manga after the anime was the best decision i've ever made, the rollercoaster of emotions this put me through.... not okay.

Not him showing of his all Japan shirt in front of Sakuragi 💀
I will forever love Rukawa and Sakuragi's rivalry friendship, I enjoyed reading every chapter of this I'm sad that it ended so quickly but I guess it's not that bad.
I lied... I want moreee, I feel a bit incomplete YK😭😭

Damn, the ending is peak :') My dumb boys are grown up, kinda sad for Akagi and Kogure...

Mitsui is still at Shokoku, he failed his exams ?

10/10 ending, even if there characters we haven't seen playing, like the big tall Sakuragi-like

That high five! Amazing manga. Sannoh match was just perfection - the comeback, Sakuragi playing through his injury, and Rukawa and Sakuragi's clutch plays to win the game. I appreciate that Inoue did not write a fairytale ending where Shohoku wins the tournament. The ending was a bit sudden. I would have loved to see how Sakuragi and Rukawa progressed as players in their second year, but I understand that it would be hard to top that Sannoh match, so this was a fair place to end it. Gonna have to get around to reading Real at some point.

It's all perfection, the pace, the panels, the draw, the expression, the ending. A complete manga put me back into my high school days. Takehiko Inoue the GOAT.

Finally done before watching The First Slam Dunk. Truly the peak of the Spokon genre and a truly bold ending by Inoue.

So this is the end of a legendary story of a Basketball team, but if for us this is the end, for them, this is only a beginning.

Thank you, Shohoku, Thank you, Inoue, Thank you, Slam Dunk !

What an incredible experience! I’m so proud of every single one of the players. They fought till the end, even if they lost their next match. They already demonstrated what they were capable of.

Ryouta is the new captain! Rukawa is doing great things already!! And of course, our boy, Sakuragi, is undergoing rehabilitation, which is all that matters. When he comes back, I know he’ll do even greater things.

Seeing how the art kept evolving was something special.

Man oh man, what a joyride this manga has been.
It all started with me buying a Slam dunk shirt because I found it cool and ended up watching the anime and now a few years later I finally decided to read through and let me just say that this is one of the best manga I've read in my short life. What a perfectly open ending to end this beautiful series and that Sannoh match was the best match I've ever witnessed.
Thank you Takehiko Inoue San for creating this masterpiece, Like damn I can't even begin to comprehend the amount of effort and creative minds put behind a work like this.
A flawless 10/10.

Although I'd like open-ended series to increase more, most series aren't able to achieve this very well imo.
Even though the series is over, it still feels like it's not over. It must be difficult to convey this to the reader.
Open-ended + bittersweet definitely the best final for a series and Slam Dunk managed it.

Also we can say that this injury is the beginning of the real era for Sakuragi.

Damn, kinda how I expected things to end, but not ending the tournament feels like a letdown. Especially bc that big mf was hyped up earlier, and that just sorta lands as a dead end.

Like, it was still a great ending, and manga in general, but fuck man, there's really just not enough of it.

The Rukawa-Sakuragi high will never leave my top 3 manga panels of all time. The Sannoh-Shohoku game is genuinely the best fictional sports match I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Admiiteddly it was rough at the start, even stopped at one point, but I am so glad I decided to finally give this series my full attention. 11/10 series, the GOAT of sports manga fr Takehiko Inoue is a real tensai
I have read 2 perfect chapters of manga; They are Usogui Chapter 203 and Onani Master Kurosawa Chapter 23.
Slam Dunk Chapters 272 to 276 are a perfect stretch of manga.
