| This episode felt just as short as the previous one. The race was fun, the pool scene was gorgeous, and I'm still in love with the OP. The show's kind of addicting. Pikari, the girl who almost appears to be floating in the air all the time, is forced to face reality again, in small ways. That is, in the previous one, we saw that she can get embarrassed, and in this one that she can get hurt. It makes her more believable, and while a humanoid happy-go-lucky spirit is fun to watch, this makes her more endearing. There's something unusual about the character design in general. If one only viewed the body shapes of Futaba and Pikari, it would be natural to assume that they're fully grown up, mainly judging by their height and prominent hips, the latter of which are often drawn to convey maturity in visual arts. I think this is an element that exaggerates Pikari's eccentricity even more; her upbeat nature wouldn't look as odd from a typical teenager anime girl. It's absolutely lovely how the animation in the last scene was used to show how Futaba is slowly warming up to Pikari and allows herself to enjoy life a little bit. I wonder if Pikari knows how badly Futaba needs her influence, as Futaba really needs to eventually let go of the past and live in the present. What I mean by that is, did Pikari pick up on Futaba's feeling of isolation, and is she actively trying to help her break out of her shell? |

| That race was fun and Hikaris expression is something I can't get enough of. Visuals,especially the colors in this show are drop dead gorgeous. |

| The visuals of this anime are so pretty. The relationship between Hikari and Futaba is starting to grow, that's a good thing. Too bad that it will probably never end in a love story between those two. |

| Hikari is such a sweetheart. Can't get enough of her dorky expressions xD Another charming episode. The last sequence in the pool was rather soothing and sweet to see. Hope the series to have more scenes like this one. |

So far only 2 diving series I knew of, this being one but sadly after watching 9 eps by now I know this isn't what I was looking for. It's not necessarily bad but I wanted more diving and less annoying chibi faces and SoL with Yuri.. Don't mind Yuri but in this scenario meh. |

And no I haven't so thanks for the recommendation! So far only 2 diving series I knew of, this being one but sadly after watching 9 eps by now I know this isn't what I was looking for.
