Everyone is just trying to get a hold of Hajime, but to no avail. Where could he be exactly?

Only Saeki himself knows the truth, and when Akine trips him up out of breaking his fall, he only replies to her vaguely. As said boy contends with taking care of his ailing mother, the lingering thoughts between him and Saeki confuse his mind, though this truth must not be mentioned to his mother out of concern that she'll have another shock moment...or rather, his mom thinking that she is stopping him from going to the club to chase his dreams. The idea of a perfect family riddles Hajime's mind, given how much trauma that episode ended him with, that he isn't going to pick up the violin once more.

Out of nowhere, the view of Takeda-sensei and meeting coincidentally, catching up on old times, and hearing of the progress through Akine. Takeda isn't all that surprised about Hajime skipping club, though that isn't his usual temprement, and Hajime breaking down right in front of him must've been a time of reckoning, a bubble to let it all out. And sure enough, he was where Akine had been before, and should rely on him and them more. To that effect, he finally gave Akine a reply, then got a worrying call from her to tell her that his mother is actually fine. Sure, Akine surmised that Saeki was one of the reasons, though that gave him an opportunity to face him.

Fight for what you think is reconciliation, Hajime.

Man it’s been way too long since we had an episode of this show. A month off right as we got to an emotional climax sucked! But we are back and what a great episode to come back on.

I’m very happy that Hajime’s mom turned out ok and is about to leave the hospital. Loved their meeting today. Something tells me she probably already knows about Saeki or has a hunch anyway.

Speaking of Saeki, it’s good that he and Aono aren’t going to have some long drawn out arc where they’re upset at one another. It’s definitely understandable that Aono was upset, but it’s ultimately neither of their faults that their dad is a bum. They had a great relationship and pushed each other to be better, nothing should change.

Takeda sensei MVP of the week for helping Aono cheer up and giving him a shoulder to cry on. Nothing wrong with letting out your feelings. Akine came in clutch as well with that phone call. Still wish she got more screen time in general, but oh well. Can’t wait for next ep!

This anime confirmed the fact that teenagers are powerless, no matter how much other anime trying to sugarcoat that teenagers can save the world.

We're back after nearly a month, better episode than last time with all the drama, with Takeda being a good guy for Aono to lean on and talk to. I liked his line about "if you still believe you're a kid, then act like one." I'm glad that this drama doesn't seem to be dragging for too long, and next episode should provide some closure to all this.

I'm happy this is back and it was a nice chapter. Funny aono saying he was going to fight him, I guess akine took it literally.

Hajime's mother's such a sweetheart, hope she recovers soon. He was going a through a lot and I'm glad he met sensei, that was good for him. Even Akine pushed him forward.
