| Pretty sure that's not a sequel but simply a season 2 in split 2 cours that was intended to be like this from the start, so the second part here isn't announced because it's popular, but simply because they intended to do this anyway. It's not a third season, but a season 2 part 2. I personally think that it was quite obvious there were going for this, looking at how slow paced the first part was, there was no way they would resolve the story of this arc after a single cour, and it felt all along like they were building for the second cour. But it's always good to have it confirmed nonetheless, it would have s***ed to learn that they didn't intend to do that after all D: |

But also remember that it took around 5 years to finish this College Arc in the manga, and it's only been 5 months since College Arc ended! (Tsk) So, yeah, look forward to a sad 7+ years for season 3 if there was any. Hopefufly Japan's anime industries are still going strong until then. Dang, I miss Chise already. |
