| If Kiruko got pregnant by Robin's rape I'm going to be extremely mad. That scene was infuriating in itself and if it resolves in this way it's the worst plotline the author could have taken. Also did Mikura create a medicine to stop Hiruko from devolving into monsters? I think from the wording of this chapter it might be true that the decay happens just by dying and not by dying by the blackpox illness Takao had. In that case, it reinforces the theory that Taka is the bird Hiruko and... makes me think whether Usagi/Shiro transformed as well after suiciding. That would put an enormous damp on that arc. Edit: Thinking about it, when I saw the anime had removed the scenes where Kiruko had her period for the first time I felt a bit of relief, because I thought if they didn't adapt that part it probably meant it wouldn't be a relevant point later. When I read chapter 32 I immediately remembered that they had shown us especifically that Kiruko could get pregnant, but that choice to leave it out of the adaptation lead me to believe it was a scrapped idea. Let's hope for it. |

| Glad Michika came with the save so Maru could finish off Anjulas. She has a pretty neat transformation! While the doc is dead, Aoshima is still alive and was able to tell our MC's their next objective. Finding Maru's twin brother won't be easy though. |

| They defeated Anzu, but it also resulting in the death of Sawatari sensei. We had Aoshima fill in the information that Sawatari was supposed to tell Maru and Kiruko. Aoshima is aware of all the details so it's disappointing, but now Maru knows where Heaven is and he knows where he must look to find his twin brother. The end of the chapter is the most surprising as we see that Kiruko is having period cramps but she could also be pregnant, this is the worst possible scenario. I do not like where this is going. |

| I think she does have strong periods... but I can't brush off some bad feeling about it. Ugh. That rape was really uncomfortable and unnecessary |
| I do wonder what the narrative purpose of Kiruko having her period again is serving this time as I am not sold on her being pregnant given how that played out with Tokio (morning sickness, feeling warm etc.) and I sure as hell hope it’s not the case, because that would make the whole Robin arc, which has been mishandled so far already imo, even worse. I am wondering wether it’s supposed to indicate that aspects of Kiriko are starting to become more prominent and truly integrating with Haruki, so Kiruko overall becoming more “gender-conforming”, e.g. commenting on how the bed smells like Maru. We’ll find out when we find out I guess, this manga remains a masterclass in longform storytelling and foreshadowing. |

| She seemed pretty confident it was her period after going to the toilet, which would make sense, since she would have seen the blood then, so that would have immediately explained the cramps. So, I don't think she is pregnant. Looking it up, bleeding can happen during early pregnancy, but it seems if it's accompanied by cramps (often stronger than normal menstrual cramps), it's a sign of a miscarriage. So, she is either on her period and not pregnant, or she is having a miscarriage. |

Still, having her period (which I think it was too) just to show her feeling towards Maru grow is a roundabout way to do it, so I'm not 100%. |
