 The One Piece Day 2023 event announced an anime adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's Monsters one-shot manga titled Monsters: Ippyaku Sanjou Hiryuu Jigoku on Saturday. The event also revealed the main staff and a teaser visual (pictured). Monsters will have a duration of one television anime episode.Seong-Hu Park (Jujutsu Kaisen, The God of High School) is directing and handling the series composition at his new animation studio E&H Production. Oda published the short story in the 1994's Autumn Special issue of the Weekly Shounen Jump special edition, which was later included in the Wanted! one-shot compilation manga. | Seong-Hu Park is working on another anime on his newly formed studio called Ninja Kamui. It was announced long time ago but MAL still didn't include that in there database. WHY ??? Here is the trailer it's coming out in 2023. |

| Interesting. I haven't heard about this manga. While I'm totally not planning to read One Piece, I might check out Monsters. Same author, and the premise looks rather interesting. Plus the latter is way, way, way shorter than the former, haha. |
