| Some nice spin-off stories, especially the one on Ouken's backstory and his return were great. I hope we get s2 soon as the whole the king's ranking thing is still quite the mystery. |

And it sure took a lot of work to get Ouken back to his human self, back to being the Captain of the Underworld. But Bojji and Kage are having fun going on their own adventure. Well, this is a fun lil' side adventure of Ousama Ranking, that still carries the allure of the main series. |

| This was nothing compared to the first season. Most of the time it was boring but I'm glad it had a bit of sequel in the end. So the one Bojji and Kage saw there was actually the real thing. I think Ouken is much more stronger now after returning to his original form. He could be stronger enough to beat King Bosse. I wonder if Ouken is going to be the next 1st ranking King. Can't wait for the new movie. Looking at how this ended I'm guessing the new movie would be full sequel. |
| It's just a collection of side stories, with this last episode being kinda lore-heavy, which, overall, I ended up enjoying more than the main series. Kinda interested in the lore now. |

| Wasn't expecting one of the biggest cliffhangers from season one, the fate of Ouken, to be resolved in this last episode of a batch that was primarily supplementary material, but here we are. And it just raises further questions with Desha's fate and the Ranking of Kings system itself. With Bojji and Kage none the wiser. This is just a guess, but I suspect whatever's going on it's gonna be Bojji who succeeds in ending this cursed system...somehow. Very good episode from an overall mixed bag of a series. As I said it was mostly supplemental and largely felt like an anthology collection. So stories involving characters I liked, mainly the three brothers Desha, Despa and Ouken, as well as Bojji and Kage, I liked. Others not as much. Some were animated in different art styles which was a nice change of pace. Reminded me of Folktales From Japan a bit in that regard. 7/10, but man I hope we get more with that cliffhanger someday. |

| It's been a really cool last couple of episodes seeing the continuation of the first season's finale, and I'm looking forward to seeing what next they've in store for us in the movie format. Looks like the concept of equivalent exchange has come to haunt the trio. At least this feels less hopeless, amnesia in the face of immortality after all. They'll have to find a way besides other Ranking though, otherwise, the cycle will continue, I feel. I was expecting Bojji to take a lot more time to find and regroup with Kage, to be honest, lol. How sweet of Bojji to leave behind some kind of memento to his beloved ones back home. Awesome to hear the Vaundy Op play in the last episode as well. |

| Desha is a real one.. Ouken came back but at what cost huh.. Bojji is so pure he always trust everyone without a doubt, good thing that Kage is with him ^^. This was fun, but we need a s2! |

| Pretty much a cute slice-of-life'ish complementary material to the main anime. Some of the side stories are entertaining, some were alright and the this last episode dropped some huge important stuff that really makes you anticipate the sequel movie. Looking forward to it. 6/10 |

| Well at least they ended the season on a high note with an actually interesting segment of the story. Though I feel like this would've worked better as episode 1 of season 2. Overall a pretty unnecessary season, last episode aside. Very basic short stories that brought nothing new to the table. I guess the episodes revolving around Ouken were the most interesting at least. 5/10 |
| I really don't understand the low rating of this side season of Ranking of Kings. Even in the caption you can read that these are side stories that add a bit more context to season 1 and are not a season in themselves. That's why it's not quite clear to me why many people are complaining that there isn't much new content per se. Personally, I thought all the side stories were very well done. Some contributed more to the story, some less, but I still liked them all very much. A few even added more context from season 1 and I was actually able to get to know the characters better and understand their motivations. There were also so many heartwarming scenes with Boji and all the other characters. It was so sweet to see him again and I hope there will be a second season or a movie at some point where the story continues. I would give this season a 9/10 because it also really touched me a lot, just like the main story. |

| Once you reject the cursed treasures and spare the child you become the one true king.... Seems that the purpose of the ranking of Kings is to eliminate the greedy. Once you pass the test, they may give the choice of granting your wish but deleting your memories, or keep your memories but become part of the council... Cool AF |
