A little question about the wings of Sylvia and Sirius.

(Hello I'm new to this blog and I don't know what and how it works here, but I'm on another subject lol)

If you don't mind my asking, why do Sylvia and Sirius have wings on their arms? Are they indications of sin from the relationship between Selian and Apollonius, or did these two manage to make babies before they died and all their descendants have a wing on one arm?
And as I understand it, after 12,000 years, Selian's soul is reborn into two children, and her soul is divided because she couldn't stand some dark thoughts? I'm sorry, I'm confused about that.
Maybe a similar question has already been answered here, but I haven't seen a discussion about it
